Yes, it is money. Money is the root of all evil. Someone said it's greed, but he forgets that money makes greed. Money increases greed and ruthlessness. It forces you to be greedy, or you lose out in this world. That's how our economy works. In the end the money produces so much evil, directly and indirectly, that it's worse than greed alone. It is true. Money is the mark of the beast. I hate money. I hate this system.

What hyenas do is nothing compared to what we have done as a civilization. Look at the countless wars we've fought and the amount of pollution we are creating. We are the least civilized species by a long shot.

Our cities kill the earth, our streets choke the soil, our dumps pollute the water. We are far from being a civilized civilization.

To be fair, hyenas can't create society, factories, commerce, pollution, etc.

I remember a really interesting explanation by Joe Rogan (keep reading) about how from an outside perspective, humans are just an advanced form of bacteria.

If you looked at the Earth as a living organism as you're flying into L.A and as you're passing all these beautiful mountains, and you see the ocean ahead, and it all looks so natural and beautiful, and then you see L.A. And you think, well, what the # is that? It’s a growth, that’s cancer. Its big, its brown, it stinks, smokes coming out of it, and it gets bigger every year. And it doesn’t matter what you do, its going to keep going, you could knock it down with a hurricane and it just rebuilds. Light it on fire, it rebuilds.

I think if you were an intelligent life-form from another planet, you wouldn’t see individual people, you wouldn’t see housekeepers and limo drivers, and stand up comedians. You wouldn’t see that, you would see mould on a sandwich.

I think if you look at us subjectively and the way we've always been, it doesn’t matter how much access to info we have, it doesn’t matter how much technological innovation we have, we're always going to destroy the Earth, 'cos I think, one way or another, that’s what we're supposed to do.

That's our purpose here on earth. We are here to, # # up. I think we're here to eat the sandwich.

Me thinks the OP Should know that the MARK dont come about till the Antichrist is in control and lopping off peoples heads who do no t swear to him.

The saying is: " The *LOVE* of money is root of all evil". Money itself is neither good nor bad.

There are some benefits to civilization. Antibiotics, plumbing and the sewers, and sanitation services come to mind.

The Mark is not being used yet, but they are setting up for it. Jesus worked as a carpenter and made money. Even when he was performing miracles there was money kept by his disciples. Judas was the purser.

Heres what I think is going to happen.... The US is 19 trillion in debt. Its the set up. When the debt can no longer be paid, the dollar will go, the Euro will fall apart too. All fiat currencies will fall apart. The world will grind to a stop. The masses will riot, loot, and murder. A socialist type of man will step forward with a plan that sounds great to the world ( He is the AntiChrist). He will be supported by the pope( the false Prophet). The plan will likely include a computerised banking system using a chip for everyone, so that every single movement of money will be taxed. Every purchase. Everything earned by every person on the planet.
I believe it will likely go down by or during 2017, proceeded by a severe stock market crash in all countries. Gold will have less value then bread, so it is likely that a nuclear war causes a nuclear winter so grain cant be grown. People who accept the chip will get sores all over their body. The people who dont accept it may already be dead by then

Because you've grown accustomed to modern life. The are plenty of people and animals who have no issue doing just that.

Also, leaves are nature's toilet paper. No need to wipe with your hands.

Even tribes are forms of civilization subject to the same hierarchy of power, dealing in goods, etc.

I simply cannot support going backwards from advanced civilization. Regardless of the bad things you delineated, more good has undoubtedly come from civilization.

Like all animals, our goal is to extend our existence and procreate. Civilization maximizes both. Humans have the intelligence and means to accomplish this, while other animals do not. Even if things reverted as you suggest, we would end up in the same place.

You want utopia. I want realistic, plausible solutions. You may be fighting the essence of human nature. In that case, we're stuck here.

The bad far outways the good in my opinion. Look at videos of factory farms, deforestation, pollution, etc.

Things may have become more convenient for humans but that has been at the cost of other life on Earth. We hurt and destroy other things for our own benefit. It's not all about us.

And look at the videos of people without limbs getting artificial limbs so they can walk, etc. Look at people who can't hear being given implants to hear for the first time. Look at people cured from disease and sickness. I need glasses or contacts because I wouldn't be able to see otherwise (thank you civilization). Look at the good society does in trying to protect wildlife, inoculate babies, build houses, give food and water to those in need, etc. I mean there is just so much I could point to.

There is bad and there is good. That will always be the case. We are human.
