The only reason that's to his advantage is because it makes the people at the bottom stupid enough to think that Bernie can confiscate enough from the ones at the top to give them all that stuff for free.

Let's get real.

There is no way Bernie can squeeze the super rich for the equivalent of the national debt in new spending year in and year out. If you are at all intellectually honest, then you know it too.

Yes and consider that he might be facing a republican house and senate........forget about it. Besides dems have been telling these pie in the sky lies for years. Although some did get an Obama phone.

Under Sanders, income and jobs would soar, economist says

And how does Sanders pull that rabbit out of his 'hat' ?

That living wage crap translates to MORE money employers are shelling out for employees medicare, and social security contributions.

IT means MORE money that are shelling out for employees workmanscomp, and unemployment insurance.

Increased TAXES on business primarily SMALL business owners since they are the largest employers in the country.

That that means your mom and pop franchise operators like McDonalds et al.

Sanders is absolutely batsnip crazy.

But that is what politicans do don't they ?

Promise the moon, and they really don't have to deliver anything.

Just like the past 8 years of the same rhetoric the current guy said.

If they're not paying fair wages to employees or taking advantage of tax loop holes or not paying fair taxes then they are gaining it unfairly. Flat taxes are not fair, the concept even, is absurd.

I have to seriously ask why the hell anyone would support Sanders and his 'socialist' delusions ?

Under his plan the 'president' and 'politicans' are the highest paid 'workers' in the land.

That means no more million dollar quarter backs.

No more JayZ and Beyonces millionaire's

No more hollywood stars like Tom Cruise making hundred of millions of dollars.

That's the socialist utopia people.

Run like HELL.

Wait a minute. So I start a business and grow it and hire people. I have to offer a wage, by law, that meets a minimum amount. As long as I do so...I can offer whatever I want. If you or anyone else doesn't want it, don't take the job. It's my business, I get to choose what I do within the law.

But try to explain to me how a percentage isn't fair? A percentage by definition is the only thing that is fair. For example...if you and I get a speeding ticket and you make 100K and I make 10K it should be a percentage of that income to be fair. If there are 50% of one group of people and 50% of another who are equally intelligent and capable...that percentage should be reflected in hiring, school, etc. It is when you say "oh...you make a million...you have to pay a higher percentage" that fair goes out the door. That isn't fair by any calculation...and you know it.

How you find fairness, absurd is...well...absurd. You can't be that deficient, I'm sure. So you must be purposely being unfair to some group you don't like. I'm not rich by any means. What I do to make what I do belongs to me. No one has the right to steal from me, be it physically or via unfair higher taxes.

So...you must decide. Do you want to be fair to everyone, or unfair the the people you aren't?

Was just thinking. I guess it comes down to responsibility. I am not responsible for everyone else in the country or the world. I am responsible for my family and anyone else I may choose. You are not allowed to tell me I'm responsible for someone I've never met. So who is responsible for themselves? Themselves...or the government...or everyone else?

I say you are responsible for yourself. If you fail...too bad. If you succeed...great. If you succeed extremely...also great. That is how business works too. A business that sucks...dies. A business with a great product and service succeeds. It weeds out the weeds. It keeps people and the country strong.

I am not responsible for you, your decisions or your choices. If you want someone to be responsible for you, you better get used to doing as they tell you. You better get used to doing things you don't want to. You better get used to losing your freedom.

*puts rose colored glasses on....

Ah yes. Everyone will LOVE the changes, and GLADLY submit to a higher tax rate. Money will flow like water over Niagara Falls. Jobs will be so plentiful, that the new norm will be for employers to bid on employees in a virtual meat market of worthy, willing able bodied people just BEGGING to go to work.

*takes rose colored glasses off...

Oh...I see now. They took their money and left. There are no jobs, because the big businesses are now based in Asia. The Government is the new 1% and we're just serfs to their will.

No thanks. Check please.

Yeah it does.

I have READ Sanders website.

Wall Street, and rich people, corporations are the 'scourge' of society.

Sanders and his supporters want to beat people into submission of a single cookie cutter mold, and he has NO quams about using FORCE to accomplish his end game.

No rich.

No wall Street, and the US government controls EVERYTHING, and dishes it out to 'each according to their ability to each according to their needs'.

Under Sanders 'everyone' is going to have more money!

What a JOKE.

At least under this 'oligarchy' people like Gates,Buffet, and Jobs are possible.

Under Sanders KLEPTOCRACY ?

You think things are 'bad' now.

It will get a whole lot worse.

Black and White is what SAnders has been ranting on about.

Elect him. He will 'solve' all the peoples 'problems'.

The problem with gray areas, the law, justice, etc. is one inescapable thing. Trust. Humans can not be trusted to be fair, to not corrupt, to not favor one over another, etc. I would trust a super intelligent computer to make choices...I will never trust another human to make choices. At least not fair ones. Look at the liberals in this thread supporting the idea that everyone paying the same percentage in taxes being unfair. That is so silly that they MUST know they are wrong. But they support people in their group. The same way the law, a judge, a politician is corrupt so are these individuals. Humans can not be fair.

Hell I want the income tax abolished.

That will 'give' the people more money, create MORE jobs, and GROW economic output.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Take from the evil 'rich' and 'spread the wealth around'.

Guess they weren't paying attention to the last 8 years of that failed ideology.

Your mention of 'make America great again' is a clear reference to Donald Tump. For the record, Trump is not a conservative. And I do not agree with the idea that since the free trade America once enjoyed was replaced by crony capitalism that it should be replaced by Sanders' socialist policies. Personally, I am not fond of Trump or Sanders. I like the idea of outsider candidates but neither of them are even close to a winner for me. I really don't even see Sanders as an outsider candidate and Trump is the perfect example of the lobbyist we all love to hate.

You're close with the spreading it around. But I think it is more like collect the money, use some to build a building, to house the employees they are going to hire, who become servants to the government, equip it with computers, nice desks, high salaries, vacations, pensions, free health care and whatever is left...the government gives to the people it likes and pretends the money came from them, not the hard working citizens they stole it from in the first place.
