Certain frequencies, under certain circumstances, can change the electron spin resonance of the atoms comprising the DNA in one's brain. This can lead to a superconductive state, in which molecules can bind to one's DNA temporarily.

General weirdness-

"baddogma's meta cafe" is an anagram for "Obama's fate came dad".

Do you have a link for that?

Sorry this may make the thread get a little out of order...

Meditation and chakras or She Came to Me

So one random day I was lounging around my futon enjoying a little bit of a nap when I snap awake. There is a burning sensation inside of me like where your testes are (keep it out of the gutter), I panic gasp and have enough time to think to myself, “Am I dying?” when the next light on the racing tree goes off! My navel, then a third way up my spine, my heart chakra, my throat, my third eye, then my crown blows. I had taken maybe three quick panic gasps of air (all in). I am in a pink space, all of universe was available/accessible, the holy word “AUM” was on infinite reverb! It was bliss! I wasn’t dying, I had never been so alive! So much to think and do in this space but I had to remember my breathing—in through the nose and out through the mouth, slowly. Calm down.

AUM is still going when a presence drifts in. At first it is quite and I barely heard her call my first name. Then like a fader on a mixing board being turned up she said my first name again. Clear, loving, like she knows me and always has. Then she says, "Don’t be afraid! He made you to worship me” and with that she fades out. I stay there in the sitting room of bliss for as long as I can. After a couple minutes it was all over and the balls of light had returned to their normal form. I feel soooo good. I shed a tear because that feeling was so intense—unconditional love. I wound up a little shakey, like I had been exercising all day.

I then come back down and my logical side kicks in. Who was she? The answer popped into my head as soon as the thought formed: Isis. Which makes the HE, Osiris. What? Why would little old me get a personal message like this from an Egyptian Goddess?

I go to my book case. I read the entirety of The Book of the Law. Crowely didn’t entirely trust the entity, Aiwass, either when through his channeling wife he is instructed, “Add, subtract, multiply, divide!” which he did. You can go see for yourself as his notes were also told to be included with his book. I then pull out VALIS, and re-read that one. I re-read Robert Anton Wilson’s Cosmic Trigger. All of these books deal with high strangeness. They have clues, hints, winks and nods. They helped me frame my experience. It was/is a pat on the shoulder to take the steps into the wider unknown. Armed with kindness, love, and knowledge I was cleared for takeoff.

So if you can breathe, watch you mind, go with the flow, control your body, you too may enter that sitting room! Without an external force (it could be kind of traumatic for some which is why Kev has given the warning on meditating).

I do not meditate! I have read about meditation but do not actively participate. I have a cheat: a mind-body electric device that produces binaural beats synced with LED goggles that I mainly use when I pop awake at 4 am and want more sleep! So I use it mostly for deep delta wave generation not beta activity.

Everybody, how’s that for coincidence? ]

That bit about the two lovers is beautiful. And i think earth is conscious. Not human or animal like, but as trees, slower and ... well different.

As above so below, as within so without. The magicians amen.

It's better to start with "as without, so within" in order to mitigate some of the self-generated subjective twaddle.

As for beauty...there is this thing called ' The nectar cycle' that Is worth researching.

Now the yoga folks have it all twaddle up....but there IS something legitimate about it....

It's like creating "internal mothers milk" to awaken and feed the baby.

Its basically highly enriched trans-pot hole universe generated "liquid cosmic beauty".

A general name of it might be "soma", but I'm talking about internal alchemy..Not the BS hallucinagetic drink that you can Google.

The "Two lovers" are at the heart of the two liquids you see...

I personally think Crowley was a total hack and amateur...in fact USED for one purpose only...to do the one "great working"...

But I know that some like his stuff..Its a shadow of a shadow of a shadow...but that's ok. Its a start anyway.

If you mix the internal liquids wrong, you get that red fire experience..I experienced it once too. It will blow up your nervous system if you lock it into continuous operation...I've met various people who have done that.

Well, in a more practical manner, I found Crowley was useful to scare bullies... skulk around with a Crowley tome, wear black and have a haunted, scary look in your eyes and the more superstitious ones stay away... fortunately the more scientific bullies are rare.

To get you started you need to first understand intercalation.

Now, imagine if you started tinkering around with those principles in relation to the serotonergic systems...

And taking it a bit further you'll want to learn about Spin and Charge Ordering in Organic Conductors

These are not totally separated fields...

There's a reason why the Witoto people sing Icaros

Yeah, Magick leaves me all "meh, not interested." AC is the worst poet ever (imho)! I used the book as a reference for how to deal by seeing how other's view a dis-embodied entity. Do you follow what it says or ignore it? What did AC do? (sticks nose in book and skips the silliness)

Thanks for the heads up on energy level frying my CNS! I did not try anything it was just a message to me in a rather strange delivery method! Besides seeing 'things in the sky', that is the highest strangeness experience I've ever had!

Just wanted thoughts from a real practitioner! Thanks!

Oh, to have a real, honest-to-tulpa mystical experience! I've brushed them with the lazy help of chems, and approached them following logical thought chains, but ... to have one in "normal" consciousness would possibly rearrange my own brain and all the doubts that always hang about the perimeter.

Then again, I already deduced much of it and might not need to directly experience it... the universe is nothing if not wiser than the individuated parts.

But whatever the names for the dual constituent parts of this reality, I love 'em and am wary of them, both.

That's a hoot!!!

But actually in his defense..at least he turned himself into a target and tried! But whether that was good or bad for others I'm not certain.

Now 'Lam' --- I saw one of those critters in 1981 in the belly of an insane theosiphist...but haven't seen one since....and that's fine with me....I don't mind the occasional friendly apparition....but one of those overgrown mutated winged lizards with delusions of grandeur I don't like.

The 'Two Lovers' EAT corrupted twaddle for breakfast (literally). But they do leave alone 'ArchTulpa'..presumably because people are attached to them and there is some learning experience in process they won't interrupt.

But anyway....they are very friendly and loving....nothing to fear...in fact they are the Ally to all shaman.

Of course Trickster try to pretend that they Are they.... This mystical stuff can certainly be quite frustrating..to separate out self delusion...unintentional universal delusion trickster delusion and good/bad guys.

Am I a 'real practitioner' On occasion I suppose. It all started against my will however...

I feel the same way!!

Am continually trying to convince myself that there must be some 'good reason' (higher purpose?) that I've never experienced anything 'mystical'...

But it sure can be frustrating to have spent so long 'in the game' (so to speak) and still not have had any (for want of a better word) 'contact'...

Crowley was a hot mess in my opinion. In previous centuries the occultists were a bit more interesting, I think, even if most of them were misguided con-artists as well. None of them were somehow wiser or more special than anyone else, though.

Anything similar to the idea of magical power shouldn't be a goal, in my opinion anyway, although it can be a useful side effect of what we all are. For instance, animals are connected to their own version of the female entity many of us here have danced with. At times I've considered it necessary to connect with such things and ask for aid to help pets heal.

The only way I'd ever willingly get noticed for something like that is the fact that I treat all animals in need equally, so sooner or later I might make the news as a crazy guy who got injured while trying to help something wild. For me, the term occult is actually appropriate, insofar as I do my best to stay hidden.

I'm not some wise guru/saint/whatever either, but I think Crowley and friends were going about it all wrong.

It is kind of funny that desire for the experience (tulpa, mind blown, high strangeness) exists at all!

I mean everybody says, "If I saw a UFO... [insert what ever they THINK they would do if they ever saw one]" but when you hit the high strangeness fence all that goes out the w indow. For some people, even just seeing a plain old UFO freaks them out to no end. So, I don't wish everybody gets to have one because most are not prepared for what ensues. For others, they can roll with it no problem. Seems like you lostgirl are ready. Mine was random and out of the blue. Besides leaving me perplexed it was just shocking to be forced into a state like that.

I did not have the boards to run to so I could ask somebody for formulating... uh, even just a reaction. So thanks to baddogma for being the gracious host!

Anyway, Mystik has some threads that are pretty strange to as to what they might mean...

PS - Got the "winDow" word displays " "! Neat!

If nothing else, we can learn from Crowley what NOT to do. . .

See, you can learn from just about anyone/anything!
