There was a lot of odd stuff in that area. Sometimes we'd see this thing that looked like a cross between a cat, raccoon, a ferret, and dog. Yeah it sounds weird and it looked weirder. We would see it scurrying around at night and slipping into storm drains.

If you want my opinion, i suggest that you pay attention to, at a minimum, at least everything that I've said in this thread.

If people want to keep going on about "their path" and "their enlightenment" and (their) siddhis --- that's fine with me.. I'm not the enlightenment police.. but it doesn't work that way.

When i said that "mysticism" isn't much for humans, I wasn't joking.

Now if you want to humbly act as a willing participant, in the "enlightenment" of other parts of the Universe, watch them benefit and then leave you --- that's an option. And it's true that there are at a minimum, certainly side effects which might make the journey "worthwhile" for a human being, and the Earth.

It's not like you have a choice in the matter.

But all the other twaddle.. I'm not so interested myself. You see, when "activation" of the 4 micro-environments starts to take place, people get so hungry for "mystical knowledge". (btw, you can add some other number to that 4 if you must, to make it = 7 or whatever, but that's just ignorance of lack of knowledge of mythology) - I understand that.

But it's focusing on the fundamentals that's helpful.. not flying off into space to chase after imaginary space monsters or whatever.

As for gurus --- that line about it is twaddle too.

The "student" isn't the human being, so there is no point in going on about it.

If you want to listen to anything I have to say.. this parting line from me in this thread would be a good one to listen to;

A "friend" who wishes to be helpful, always talks past the human being... as the human being is not the student.

I myself enjoy helping people who have become my friends.. but that is a different thing entirely.

I do hope that was helpful.

It wasn't what you wanted.. but if it had been... it wouldn't have been of any value.

"Life is what happens, when all of your plans fail".

Haha, I am crazy. As far as society is concerned. Doesn't bother me much though, label me if you must.

Isn't that kind of what always happens? The closest ones "get concerned" and for their comfortability you take a break, take some drugs, convince the doctors you are fine and get back to what you have to do. I am physically totally fine, MRI, EEG, LP all without noticeable problems. Just peculiar interests.

And no, it is more like my brain tells me that I have no clue what I should focus on next.
I tried Alien contact: doesn't work. Not in any satisfying physical way. I was looking for demons: nothing. I practised telepathy: meh.
I seriously don't know what I should be looking for next.

Are you trying to catch the unknowable in a butterfly net?

I was reading through your thread history today and found some interesting things. Now I have an interesting question, I think: what is your take on projection?
To me it is and was from the very beginning obvious: you find what you seek. That's why these religious folks find demons and people like T.McKenna found the spirit of Mother Earth and so on? Can you project enough to make others see your personal apparation?

Also: Isn't it maybe possible some people with "thinner skin" are able to look behind the veil of time? That all the UFOs and apparations are not extradimensional in any way, but simply out of time?

From what I understand, we don't even live in the "usual universe" here at all. I call it the "pot hole". I'm not saying that we are special here.. there are TONS of potholes you know..

But the rules are a little different here, than "where the god's live" so to speak. And by god, I mean there are 12 year old boys doing home chemistry experiments that create pot holes by accident.. or something of that nature.. don't take me too literally here.

As far as projection --- it'st he "Universe" which finds what it seeks, and "we humans" are part of the mechanism for that.

But yes.. if you seek a "soul" you get a soul (poor thing you). If you seek UFOs, then yes, in general you find "UFOs".

Now I know that some people seek all their lives for something and never find it, say a UFO sighting. But in that case, what is really being sought is the experience of frustration.. the ability to obsess without obtaining.. who knows? Or one faction of the Universe is blocking another Faction of the Universe. It's impossible to really say.

But it's NOTHING. NOTHING. NOTHING. like the "reality creators" think it is. (yes, this is a slightly sore subject for me..
due to past events -- I'm definitely human too).

One of the wisest men I know.. someone who really helped "me" - never used words, and always smiles when talk of "reality creation" is discussed. He's also a master of Kashmiri Shamanism.

And you know what? I've never asked him any questions... he used to ask me a lot of questions..

Of course when "someone" asks you a lot of questions --- it's not out of respect.. LOL. Just the opposite sometimes.

I don't perfectly understand this subject either.. obviously.. it's one of the hardest subjects there is.. and as they say, you can never see your own future... this very subject is continuing to unfold for me too.

Obviously.

You've read The Gut's control loop thread (s), right?

Ever think that the "control loop" is doing everything in it's power to prevent you from "catching god in a butterfly net"?

That's how it goes you know...

Men, more specifically, are known to "try to rip off the veil off the lady" to learn her secrets.

But the lady only gets naked for her lovers.

My first teacher helped me to learn that. The crabby old son o' bitch coot. People always love/hate their teachers you see.
That old fraud / loser, taught me maybe 3 things. All the rest was ridiculous, confused noise, and mooning over his dead holy man.

But I love him, always and forever, the piece of dung.

thanks for your opinion I appreciate it.

it was pleasant to talk to you!

but please don't let our closure slow down the thread, the show must go on!
people please keep on posting stories and opinions, questions ... no limits!

I should know.. my ass end has craters in it.

That said, this isn't my thread.. it's BD's. I"m just watching and learning a few things here and there.. which is utterly delicious.

Have you ever noticed whether your son has a similar high tolerance to pain?

Have you ever thought about having genetic testing done?

Might be some fascinating 'stuff' in your DNA

Welcome LG (bows and flourishes with his hat and feather... and sneezes 'cause it went up his nose).

I wonder if someone, some where, is matching the strange "powers" of some to certain portions of the strand of life?

It's certain some geneticists are aware this "weird stuff" has a certain validity and maybe they're wasting time finding it (cue x-men music.. .though real life weirdness rarely ((as far as I'm aware)) reaches it's fictional portrayal)?

I'm already there at stage left attempting to digest a fraction of the things already broached in passing here (and in the life experience in general) so we might as well enter the cafe 'cause backstage is drafty.

Welcome...

And maybe that "no bleeding" thang was the Earth/universe/you telling you the thought itself was enough and the ritual was superfluous (lord, thanks spell check).

As it so happen, my wife is one of the wisest beings in all the Universes. Well it seems that way from time to time! Except when she's yelling at me to take out the garbage, then I wave my shaman spirit rattle at her in dispute, before she kicks me out the front door, with stinky bag of refuse in hand..

(actually, i'm a perfect angel who always takes out the garbage.. does the home maintenance.. do most of the shopping.. and many other husbandly duties.. she's my Queen after all, and the living embodiment of "she who must be obeyed' ;-)

Anyway.

We were discussing one of our favorite topics over breakfast, and she let loose with this 10 megaton pearl:

"The purpose of mysticism is to embrace death, not flee from it; by embracing death you conqueror it".

Couldn't say it better myself. You see, I was telling her about the universal human mistake of trying to learn mystical secrets in an effort to "escape death".

It's been a very beautiful morning for me.

I've been IM'ing a couple of my friends from this thread.. they both were googly IM's --- thank you!

But I'm feeling thankful today, that I think I finally got a handle on the "uncomfortable situation" of having people interested in my previous "path" and having that screw with my head.. I'm basically a HERMIT you see.. as is my wife... fortunately my wife and I seem to be all but the same being (sh'es less mystical than me but more wise).. so it's like cheating.. we are alone and together at the same time.

I've taken something of the wrong approach to my participation..

Really I was always here for the exact same reason as anyone else.. because I enjoy at least part of it..

And when I (or we or anyone) harasses ourselves that we MUST put on some role for others, we are really being totally stupid.

What *I want* to do in this thread, is to see if I can be useful to someone... and if I can also let others be useful to me.. by not having to be the big expert all the time.

I've been a hermit for a very long time.

You know, THERE IS NO MYSTICAL PATH FOR HUMANS.

Anyone want to show extreme brilliance and explain that to me?

Love you....

Kev

An indian influenced druid?

That notion made me spin off on conglomerates of mystical knowledge/traditions and what the resultant mix would look like and be?

And the answer was an even more confused version of me (or anyone else reading up on this crap for 40 some years- and teaching their little parasite-babies, according to "some").

We have a breakthrough!!! Heh! (that was a genuine expression of joy, not my usual, more sardonic "heh")

And then we have...

THERE IS NO MYSTICAL PATH FOR HUMANS

There is just some knowledge that when gleaned, lets you know there is no real reason to have gleaned it, no guy behind the curtain, just 'being' and helping other beings be more pleasantly... or something like that.

I could revise and refine and reduce ad infinitum, but I'll leave it.

eta: well, had to add knowledge itself is the whole game of soemthing/no thing ... but as far as knowing the operating systems running behind the scenes, well, the point is the scenes, is what I was trying for. NOW I'll stop...for this post

Hii lostgirl, well i recall when he was about 2-3 years old, he fell in the bath and broke his collarbone. I asked my oldest daughter to sit by him+ just keep an eye on him, i was busy cooking or with some other chore. But you know teenagers, she was doing less supervising mo chatting on her her cell- so he was playing around in the bath and fell, and broke his collarbone.

Well we took him to the ER immediately+ he got bandaged up- with a warning from our doc to keep him very still if at all possible- because apparently if the bandaging was not going to be enough to have the bone rest and reset- he would have to undergo surgery and have a metal plate inserted.

I was' nt wild about the idea of surgery+ anaesthesis for such a young child- but did we ever have a Battle to have him go easy on the injury! He was playing around rough as ever, sliding +clambering over the lounge couchrs head first like it was a jungle gym- our doc was amazed, said she'd never seen a lil one with such a pain threshold- it was like he didn't feel the pain from the broken collarbone.

What did hurt him was when the bandages needed changing- it hurt his skin i think because it was those sticky bandaging and was applied to his skin without padding underneath-im not a doc so idk they must' ve had their reasons for bandaging that way.

As far as other injuries go, idk brcause luckily he' s been spared most of them.

I have noticed he likes his bathwater very hot too, though, even in summer.

Your wife is very wise indeed. The way i see it "death" does not exist-energy cannot be destroyed. So what is referred to as " death" is merely a doorway, an exit point. To what comes after, whatever /where ever that may be. I hope it includes cats, many many cats.

My own post death experience must include dogs... many dogs... let's hope we don't meet up 'cause it would be quite the chaotic afterlife...

eta: which broaches: how could there be a typical idea of a heaven where we stay as we are here and not be alone?

There is no mystical path for humans.. as "all this" is not "just for humans" or even "primarily for humans".

Everything is part of the life cycle of everything else.

Our livers are part of our life cycle.

We are part of our livers life cycle.

The Universe doesn't give a flying frakk, if we are "enlightened" or "republicans".

But little families in the Universe do care about such things.

We (presumably) care about each other.. or at least should.

The "daddy snake, mommy snake, baby snakes, and the "monkey snake" (black sludge monster" are excited to do their thing.. and "we can benefit from their life cycle" if we do it right.

Or we can let their life cyle rub off on us in a negative way.. and we can create religions and political parties, as way to attempt to deal with the restlessness of being alive and to suffer.

Now "above" the little snakies (the reason I call them snakes is 'interesting' - more on that some day) are what I call "the two lovers"... you see them referenced in much mythology.. even the OT (Christianity & Judaism) has "Jacob's latter".. which apparently is the same thing..

I'm in love with the two lovers. I can't help it. I've resonated to them since before I was born..

There is "she who must be obeyed" who lives primarily in our world... she's also known as the "control loop".

Anyway.. I'm being a tease.

Time to work on laundry and be with my wife.
