"I agree with all negative criticism of the candidates... except when it comes to MY guy."
When you quote somebody, you're supposed to quote what they actually say and I never said that. Just an FYI.
Sanders. Socialist, yes. Focuses more on social programs and raising taxes on everyone then major issues like the Middle-East and the crippling debt hanging over the country. At least he isn't considered establishment, denied the Super PAC bribes and isn't bought by special interests.
That's just it though. You're incorrect about him raising taxes on everyone. He isn't. Tax increases only start for those making around 250,000 and up.

Obviously Sanders is your golden boy since your alright with self-opinionated criticism of every candidate except him.
Sanders has announced proposals that include raising 6.5 trillion dollars, which could inflate to 18 trillion over a 10 year period... where do you think he is going to get that kind of money to fund his social programs? I mean, lets be realistic here.

Texas is not Hillary Clinton country.
The former secretary of state made a fundraising stop in Beaumont, Texas Wednesday and KFDM reports only six people showed up at the airport to greet Clinton.

I sincerely hope it comes down to Sanders vs Trump, then I would know that the American political system has not been absolutely co-opted by special interests. I would take either of those candidates over another empty suit.
Gerald Friedman's research was cited in a Wall Street Journal story about Bernie Sanders's proposals for government spending. Friedman responds to that story below.
