In one cable, released this week by the Web site Wikileaks,
Berlusconi is unflatteringly described as "feckless, vain and ineffective."
Also at the meeting of the organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe were French President Nicolas Sarkozy, described in one cable as "mercurial" and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, a confidant of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, whom American diplomats called "Robin to Putin's Batman

State.gov I imagine.
But as a sampling...from leaked cables.
( yes there is quite a bit more in her emails )
Hillary's comments about Berlusconi, Sarkozy, Medvedev:

Well Trump calls Mexicans Rapists and Murderers -
I think it is less offensive that Hillary is speaking of government officials, just my opinion.

It seems today on ATS just like every time election comes around on ATS that the candidates dominate the forums although as a Brit I do find this rather annoying if I can’t beat em’ I might as well join them. So with that said I have been taking part in the odd thread every now and then that sparks my interest most of which as concerned one particularly conversional candidate.
Donald Trump.
Every time I enter into one of these threads I am struck by the same thought and I think it is about time I let it out and ask this question.
Why would anyone on ATS support trump?
Sometimes, people just want to see the whole world burn....
The reason I ask this is very simple, ATS up until even last year if I recall was awash with threads about the “1%”, it’s a common theme throughout ATS where we discuss the “Elite” and their “Agenda”. There is lots of talk of an elitist New World Order who amass wealth and power to squash the little guy. To me trump is the perfect embodiment of this spectre, a man who only seems to be interested in amassing wealth and power for his on personal gain to me Trump is no better than a Rothschild, Winsor the Bush family and so on.
With that said then I don’t understand why people on ATS seem to be supporting him, surly he is “one of them”.
Now yes I know there are many on ATS who would argue that they don’t believe in the New World Order or some kind of nefarious elitist secret society (to be clear I don’t believe either) so perhaps this thread is not so much target at you. However there seems to be quite a lot of support for this man who seems to fit the bill for one of the “elite” so why do ATS members support him?

I also would love to stick the proverbial finger to the GOP Elites
And there's the answer.
Trump is uncontrolled and uncontrollable. He's the proverbial loose cannon on the deck.
The next year is going to be very interesting.

Show me where Trump attended Bohemian Grove and maybe I'll listen to you. Otherwise, you're just blowing hot air.

You may be right about Trump and I suspect that you are but Bernie strikes me as a honest person (although In an exaggerated way) and a smart man with purpose. I also sense that he wants to take control and not be led around by the powers that be. We shall see.

Based on your OP, you don't even know how our election system works and are politically illiterate (in US Gov't/Politics) on several counts
And what are you basing this on from to OP???

That's not the first time I've heard someone in the middle or just left of the middle say that about liberals and progressives. I've even been hearing liberals say that progressives have pushed them to the middle and that they'll be voting Republican in the upcoming election.
