If you had a daughter - maybe you do but hypothetically - and she was to enter a room with 100 people in it, and you were told beforehand that one of the occupants of said room was a rapist...how would you feel about that?

Nobody is saying they're all rapists...but exactly what percentage do we decide...that's too many?

I reckon 1% of 1.1 million is an unacceptable risk - we need to be smarter than that.

I found an argument on youTube I'm sure, it was a blog or forum or something, most likely YouTube because I watch a lot of stuff on there - a lot of Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris stuff, etc...so it's likely there somewhere but it was a while ago, I'll try to find it.

Basically the argument was about Islam, I don't have an account so I only read. But verses of the koran were posted and seemed reasonable enough. It was about not killing other people or something.

The interesting thing was the person arguing against when they asked who the verses applied to, to which the answer was "everyone"

Further to the line of questioning the opponent asked define everyone....the response, everyone.

Christians do a crusade and its not a one group of people decision, I think the church calls for that. The fact remains that - regardless of the apologists - when Muslim men come into contact with a liberal culture many seem to lose control. Is this unsurprising when they come from highly misogynic societies based on religious teachings, where women are unimportant.
