Bernie Sanders 30 years of a consistent message. Fighting for the middle class of America and American Veterans for 30 years. Once Bernie breaks through and they can't ignore him anymore it's gonna be like when they took the signal down in "They Live." As the universe is my witness I love this man -- my human brother

Video below

Bernie Sanders has the most economic support out of any candidate running. There are 810 economists, 210 who have PhD's, and 7 Nobel Prize Laureate's, that agree with his proposals. According to top U.S. economist Gerald Friedman, who has a PhD from Harvard University, per his analysis, we will save $5 trillion and reduce our federal deficit by $2.9 trillion over the next decade from no longer having the excessive costs associated with the private healthcare industry.

LINK

Bernie's only presenting two programs that will tax the middle class. The first one is the single payer universal healthcare bill. This will be a 2.2% increase on income under $200,000. However, when you factor in the cost savings of no longer having to pay for insurance premiums, copayments, x-rays, etc., it will likely result in a savings for many. The second tax increase will be from the Paternal Leave Act. This will result in a minuscule tax increase of roughly $1.85 per week. The benefit far outweighs the cost.

LINK

We already are a social democracy. We currently have 75 socialist programs here in the U.S. LINK

its estimated his policies will save us $10 trillion in a 10 year span. Find out where he stands on the issues and more at FEELTHEBERN

Quite a large Appeal To Acheivement in that excerpt.

Bernie's a good man though.

Nice touch with the socialism link...
The neo-cons with have an aneurysm reading that.

This is my issue with Sanders. I agree with a lot of what he says. BUT they are all pipe dreams. Sure. I can want it. But it won't happen.

blah - blah - blah

Bernie needs to move to France where he can be appreciated.

The ones that need to read it won't. Most of the knuckle-draggers can't be bothered to learn the difference between communism and socialism. They seem to be allergic to dictionaries.

All dreams start off as pipe dreams. Then people work on them until they become reality. Why would you be so quick to to give up on something you admit you want? Should all of us settle for the status quo because it's more "realistic"?

I agree with this.

The only way to get change is to keep trying for it and dreaming. The world would be a much crappier place if people accepted defeat at every turn.

Yeah, socialism is great, especially when you have to give most of your paycheck to pay for the 'less fortunate' and even lazy people pumping out kids so you can take care of them.

I'm sure all you bernie supporters will think twice once you see what true socialism is. Meh, he wont be elected but if he is, we deserve it. Just like we deserve all the nonsense obama has brought us, you morons asked for it.

Exhibit A.

I am stricken by the mysterious impression that you know almost literally nothing of what Bernie stands for and intends to actually do. How much have you researched him and his plans using non-biased sources and/or those from both sides of the fence? Not only are his proposals (Healthcare reform in particular) superior to the current system in every single way, they are also less expensive. That is, cheaper.

...you morons...

Well this isn't the Mudpit, but allow me to reciprocate...

It's you morons who don't have the slightest clue what socialism is or does for Society that keep the right wing low information voters, most of them, low information.

Police, roads, fire service, ambulance service etc

You want the NYPD sponsored by Nike, I bet.
And the Fire Engines to be scrawled with McDonalds advertisements.

Instead we should keep things how they are now, right? Where we keep a little more of our paychecks upfront, yet spend more in insurance premiums & out of pocket health care costs and more for higher education costs? Oh, and many of our paychecks would actually be lower right now because they don't factor in his proposed $15 an hour minimum wage or equal pay for women policies.

Limited social programs are fine, just like taxes. That is not socialism. Forcing citizens to pay expenses based on income is. There is no incentive, no competition, there are no 'classes'.

The whole star trek uopia so much of you dream about is not possible, not in the form of socialism. It just doesnt work, there weight goes too far in one direction with socialism, it will never work.

Sorry to burst all your utopia tard bubbles.

A lot of the anti-socialism types always seem to ignore the massive amount of socialist elements already in place. But honestly, even how I am using the term is incorrect. It has just come so, so far from its original meaning. Nowadays it seems to just stand for "anything the GOP and/or far-right wack jobs don't like."

Morons are the low information voters that keep voting Republican because they think that they too someday can become millionaires if we can just give corporations and the wealthy a few more tax breaks.

Morons are the voters that continuously vote Republican even when they are receiving food stamps.

Morons are the voters that continously vote Republican when they are an illness away from becoming homeless, because they wont be able to pay for their healthcare.

Your first paragraph makes no sense. Taxes are fine, but citizens paying expenses based on income... Isn't? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's what the INCOME TAX is. Strictly speaking, "proper" Socialism has nothing to do with taxes in the first place.
My feeling that you don't have a clue what you're talking about persists.

Not with you around.

Keep it in the mudpit.

...tard...

All sweetness and light tonight, aren't we...

That is not socialism.

WRONG.
That's exactly what socialism is.

Forcing citizens to pay expenses based on income is.

WRONG.
That's capitalism's tax system at work.

Socialism gives the person a choice.
By its very definition if it isn't socially agreed upon its not implemented.

How's funding those wars denting your pockets?
Hmmmm...
