You will be on the wrong side of history if you do, friend.
PC is awekening far-right elements by pushing moderates towards them. Most charges of racism and bigotry are insincere. And when these real racists and bigots come and show real racism and bigotry, no one is going to take the cries for help seriously.

As the proverb goes, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".
The problem is they really believe they are doing good, and trying to convince them by showing the demonstrable effects of their actions simply is not working.

It used be an art to telling the truth without offending to the point of fist to cuffs.

Because what PC really stands for is Programed and Controlled.
When truth is replaced with confabulation, and truth is feared, and hidden behind a curtain, we become residents of Oz, where the lies become the foundation for everything and everybody.

I see evidence of this everyday.
It is like the spouse that is screamed at everyday with false allegations of cheating. After a while they become so desensitized to the accusations, that they start to lean toward the crimes they are repeatedly punished for while innocent of the accusation.
I admit that I sometimes grow weary of trying to play nice when the effort is futile, and I become angry with myself when I allow myself the be pulled down into that basket.
It used be an art to telling the truth without offending to the point of fist to cuffs. I think that art died when people starting settling their disputes by going postal.

Here's the rub.
Compassion isn't always nice or polite. Some times the fat person needs to be called fat. That temper pain could get them motivated to live healthier.

PC is on one side of the spectrum, and assh*les are on the other side. How about we find a middle ground.

Political correctness is a very sick & twisted mental disease that is without a doubt destroying Western culture.
Its roots are based on irrational liberal emotionalism, where facts are purposely ignored for political gain. It is an illness.
I believe that it should be treated as the enemy of common sense and truth that it clearly is. ~$heopleNation

I think the only 'middle-ground' we can achieve is that everyone needs to be less offended by others' opinions, more educated, and more mellow.
So you hate racism, but blast the people who's great, great ancestors enslaved some of your people? Paradox much?
So you have found your own personal sexual identification, that's great, why get offended when others' who are less informed of the topic call you a male/female instead of some super specific, obscure title? We're happy you've found a classification for your identification, don't bash others simply because they accidentally and honestly presupposed you were of the statistical majority.
So what if a person of the opposite gender takes a glance at whom they find attractive? It's not subjecting the individual because another found them attractive, it's simply a perfectly natural, biological response. If you haven't ever experienced the same event from your perspective, then it's not because you're better than those who have done it, it's probably because you're asexual and have no attraction to anyone else.
The human race just needs to be less arrogant, more intelligent, universally accepting (even to ignorance), and humbly offer assistance to all regardless of whatever it is that makes them an individual.
A feat much too difficult for many, it would seem.

I agree with the O.P., in particular, two parts of the O.P. There are definitely some issues the Islamic culture brings with it in terms of the way it treats women in particular, and other people. This is a cultural problem, yet the far left does not allow people to talk in terms of cultural problems.
The other issue is when feminists get obsessed with *very* trivial issues and forget what it is like in other parts of the world where there are real issues facing women. By very trivial, I mean to specify issues that are a bit over-the-top. There are still issues that need to be discussed even in more civilized societies like Europe and the U.S.

The Islamic issues about women can be discussed.
What Feminists and what trivial issues? That is a vague statement.
