No problem, Johnny. Lets just keep it low key and civil.

Sure...and here's something of interest from another thread, though, that speaks to the need for surgical intervention as opposed to 'blowin' # up'.
Five Ways to Devastate ISIL

Thanks, Johnny. But I never advocated just blowing them all up like Ted Cruz wants to do with his insane and inhumane carpet bombing of the entire M.E. plan. I simply want to combine air attacks over Syria and Iraq in support of a an international coalition of ground troops to root the barbarians out of their rat holes, destroy them, and then come back home per a pre- planned exit strategy. All of this must be based on shared intelligence so we can surgically eradicate the terrorists, but to do be able to effectively do this ,we have to know where they are first.

I also endorse , in combination with all of the above, a defunding of their sources of revenue and placing tough sanctions on the known exporters of this terrorism such as Iran, first and foremost.

North Korea , per the Daily Beast, has just threatened to nuke D.C. with a missile launched from a submarine, and eventually they just might be able to do it.

When will our sleepy smiley fun loving lazy and incompetent President finally realize the danger posed by this increasingly nuclear capable rogue regime led by a young reckless petulant dictator, and take some steps to deal with the issue? And when will Obama also show some backbone and put some real diplomatic pressure on China to reign in their reckless ally??

Donald Trump, in his latest speeches, is sounding increasingly isolationist. He actually wants to consider pulling out of NATO, and now he also questions whether our decades old commitment to S. Korea is really even worthwhile any longer. In addition, Trump also wants to stop oil sales to Saudi Arabia to pressure them into a greater effort fighting Isis, and then reengage with the Saudis after we "get a better deal" from them in this regard.

Frankly, America stands at risk of finding itself all alone without any friends or world partners and becoming an isolated island in a very dangerous world if this ignorant egomaniac becomes President! With Isis becoming a greater and greater threat, we need a coalition of cooperative allies internationally to have any chance of defeating these barbarians.

Trump just doesn't get, he never has gotten it, and he never will get it!

Isis is claiming responsibility for a suicide bomber's killing of a large number of people at an Iraqi soccer match today.

Steps must be taken now to bring this horror to a halt. There is no way to know where or when these barbarians will strike next and time is being wasted with conversation, chatter, and noise when it is fast action and not words that is needed.

Keyboard warriors make me want to puke. Man up, join up or STFU.

You are now beating a dead horse.....

Olaru,
At this point in time, if there is legitimate probable cause to believe that certain "chatter & noise" is relevant to those that might be involved or have links to terrorist activity, I give my full support to investigate & do what needs to be done to prevent the loss of innocent lives. If you have nothing to hide then I 'd think you should want the same. I also believe that it should have never been an issue when it came to unlocking the cell phones of the San Bernardino terrorists. We MUST SEIZE EACH & EVERY OPPORTUNITY & LEARN ALL WE CAN whenever circumstances arise. If we just sit back & do nothing at all while we know for sure that plots & plans are in the making then we are nothing more than inanimate objects sitting & waiting for the next attack. An ounce of prevention goes a long way!

Worse now, much of the chatter is coded or unable to even be deciphered. Whatever needs to be done to untangle this secretive, deceitful web of terror & terrorism MUST DILIGENTLY be put to task NOW. We have waited much too long already. I say it's time to do exactly what needs to be done.

Also, I care deeply for human life & the lives of animals. I didn't appreciate your poor analogy of beating the dead horse. The fact of the matter is that some people are hard headed & just don't get it or even understand the message unless it's repeated many times over or until they or someone close to them become one of the actual victims.

Isis continued its persecution of Christian groups on Good Friday with the alleged savage killing of a Catholic Priest. These Radical
Jihadist terrorist monsters are on a crusade of Christian genocide. The sooner a global coalition begins to take effective action to eradicate them, the better. And the United States must take the lead in this struggle instead of continuing to lead from behind and only relying on other countries to take them out.

Hear that, President Obama? You've been asleep at the switch far too long already and its time to wake up!

Read the national magazines and newspapers, watch and listen to the media telecasts and radio broadcasts ,and finally listen to Trump's speeches, Zanti.

Where are your sources that Trump doesn't change his views about almost everything on a daily basis except to keep saying "he'll build a wall and make them pay for it." The problem is that he wants to wall off America from its world partners. Didn't you hear him say he wants to consider eliminating our NATO alliance and that our commitment to South Korea may not be a very good idea?

Ignoring the truth and calling it an "untruth" doesn't accomplish anything at all. And the country is beginning to realize that this empty barrel of a candidate is quickly running out of his fear and ego driven rattle!

It is quite a comfort to read all of your posts & blogs. You are extremely knowledgeable in the area of political affairs, current events, history & the process of government. You also have a very keen sense of interpreting & understanding this election phase we are in along with the frustrating times & consequences that could be looming in the future. I have been following you. You consistantly state the facts in a very clear, truthful realistic manner. No spin on your views.

This might sound crazy but I would love to be able to watch you on a news station rather than the only ones that I can get, each having it's own very biased opinions. I'm sure a lot of money is paid to get the talking puppet heads to say what they say. Also to get the highest network ratings. The money talks first & doesn't prioritize when influencing people to vote cast a vote for a candidate that will destroy our country.

Actually you seem to have the right platform that I would love to cast a vote for as the next president of the United States. Seems without a doubt you know & understand what this country needs to make America strong & safe again & to get it back on track so we can be proud & looked up to by other countries. What candidate would you say comes closest to your views? I personally see Govenor Kasich as the man that I would cast my vote for at this time.

I hate to say it Zanti but you seem to live on an isolated planet where you have no resources whatsoever to understand & comprehend what's going on in the world today. You shouldn't have to keep asking for resources. If you aren't sure about a fact that was stated, then look it up yourself. Do your homework man. Time to get off that couch & get knowledgeable so you don't cast a vote for a dictator or for someone else who will make your life miserable or put you in grave danger of being in the company of a terrorist. It's wakeup time! Take the challenge, you can do it!

Thank you very much, bonden! Your comments are so very kind and thoughtful. Much appreciated!

I, too, endorse Governor John Kasich of Ohio as the best candidate out there to lead our nation into a dangerous and uncertain future. His knowledge of the issues, even temperament, prior executive experience and skills working with Congress, and his thorough understanding of complex international politics will all serve to make him an excellent world leader and a fine President of the United States!

Per "Think Progress" magazine, Racist comments from candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruiz concerning a generalized ban on Muslims entering the United States and the racial profiling of American Muslim neighborhoods via excessive police surveillance only makes the Isis Radical Jihadists all the more determined to continue their terrorist activities and gives them an excuse for for doing so such that they actually add to the number of their recruits.

If either Trump or Cruiz should become President, the Isis problem will actually worsen.

Generalized Racist Islamophobic rhetoric such as the idea to just carpet bomb the entire M.E. out of existence as proposed by lying Ted Cruiz, or a generalized ban against all Muslim people outside the country, accompanied by the ludicrous play ground bully talk of the would be dictator, Trump, i.e. " something bad is coming out of there" also serves to make it much more difficult to enlist our Sunni Muslim allies like Jordan and Saudi Arabia to join the global coalition so desperately needed to defeat and destroy the Isis barbarians who threaten all of us!
