What defines smart?

We could start with not listening to the news, talk radio, political pundits and "experts". That would go a long way to making us smarter. Secondly, turn of the sitcoms and reality shows. Thirdly, Parents need to make their kids put down their phones and turn of netflix for a few hours every night. Make kids read and play lego our outside or nerf guns or anything really.

Hi Seagull. I agree absolutely that America would be a lot better off without all the conflicting jargon fed to the public by the talking heads T.V. and radio media with their separate agendas based on getting the best ratings and out scooping one another. They hold themselves out as political experts while seeking any source that will bolster their viewership numbers and satisfy their sponsors.

Limiting the time children are exposed to cell phones and frivolous T.V. programing would also encourage more intelligent pursuits thus leading to a greater ability to think for themselves when they become adults.

Isis has it's own agenda. When Saddam ruled Iraq he was as much against this kind of terrorism as all the other countries in the M.E. Hence I still maintain that Isis started this war and it is being waged against all civilized nations.

How many of the upper echelon are former Baathists that were scattered when Saddam got dumped? Look into it. Meanwhile, how about a few well-placed terminations among the folks arming them, or shuffling their money around?

Blowing up their oil trucks was a good start...but Obama got flack for warning the drivers to flee, first. (avoiding yet another set of civilians from hating the US and going extremist) You're paying the tab...how about spending it smartly instead of just going in and making a mess.

Obama went to a baseball game in Cuba while sucking up to Raoul Castro and giving the store away, asking nothing in return from that Communist country. Meanwhile he did nothing more than to merely mention the Brussels Isis Terrorist Attack. How typical of this weakling and coward. He will likely be reincarnated as an ostrich one day so that even in his next life he will be able to deal with problems by sticking his head in the sand and leaving it there in the hopes that the problems will disappear! A clever way to put that very sad & unfortunate ongoing problem. President Obama turns into vapor & evaporates each & every time a crisis rears it ugly head. The coward absolutely cannot & will not stand up & show the slightest drop of strength to provide a measure of comfort to his country or to the world.

Our president continuously refuses to step up to the plate. Today as terror attacks were unleashed in Brussels , this man goes to a baseball game in Cuba & as always zones out & just watches the plate.

What is this man's real agenda I ask?

Thank you, Bonden. Your reply was very well written and right on point! Obama's real agenda IMO is to continue to sell out his country by ignoring and sucking up to the Radical Islamic Terrorists known as Isis. He still can't bring himself to call these barbarians what they are, preferring instead to refer to them as jokers. This President has failed to protect the American people, which is the first and most important part of his constitutional oath of office. For that failure, he should be impeached!

I fully agree with you. I would only love to hear the words that you so clearly stated, spew fiercely out of our president's mouth to show the world his utter revulsion. After that, I want him to stand tall & have a plan in place that spells out the drastic consequences that will be immediately implemented to stop these horrific acts of violence. If not now, when?

Too bad the man never had the guts to be a true leader. At the start of his presidency, he should known that these times call for the USA to take the lead & form a strong coalition of allies to fight terrorism wherever it strikes. That should have been one of the most important things on his agenda! If he would have initiated that plan with full strenghth, there might not be Radical Islamic Terrorists destroying life & liberty wherever & whenever. Thus, possibly no despicable acts of terror, loss of lives, injuries & destruction in Belgium today.

This is a terrible thought & I'm almost sorry to put it out there. We along with the rest of the world should be able to look up to the President of the United States of America as a strong leader that can be counted on to do what is needed to protect our country by a strong military in place to use when needed & to be a source of power for helping guide the way for other countries to form bonds with us to stomp out brutality & terrorism.

This president has been totally immune to such atrocities as though they do not exist. He has completely avoided the subject, hindered & refused any suggestions or the pleading for help to act now! He has not done a single thing to stop this terrible plague from spreading.

Because of this I feel that he must now take some of responsibility for the murder & wounding of so many innocent victims that has taken place while he has enjoyed himself all these years , at our expense, in the White House. With the right coodinated effort, these heinous crimes against humanity could have been nearly defeated.

This plague is a major world epidemic that has grown out of control while our leader golfed, vacationed in Cuba & everywhere else, went to sporting events like the Super Bowl etc. He knows someone had his back & that he & his family are always protected from harm.

Thanks Mr. President for leaving us your diseased legacy.

No 9/11 on his watch, I've noticed. Seems to have killed Bin Laden as well. So how about going back to the roots of the conflict instead of trying to make Brussels Obama's fault?

It's only the difference between fighting the last election and coming to understand the forces at play in the world today. But...sometime peoples' worlds are just a little too small to want to make the distinction. Which actually explains much about the current election cycle.

It doesn't make any difference whatsoever to me what Obama's race or color is or ever was. White, black, yellow, red , purple or green for that matter. I evaluated him strictly on the basis of his failed leadership and weak ineffective and incompetent terms as President of the United States.

It was learned today that Isis had also targeted the Brussels nuclear sites for their terrorist attack there. These sites have now been sealed but had that portion of the attack been successful, there would have been many more casualties and much more widespread property damage as well!

Does Obama plan on wasting even more time "looking into this matter" before coming up with a better plan to deal with Isis? It is obvious these barbarians mean to kill as many innocent people world wide as possible, and Obama's weakness is only encouraging them to go right on killing!
