Absolutely imo. They capitalized on the chaos and large numbers of people out at late hours. They knew the likelihood of apprehension was low. So just they're just awaiting opportunity and weighing that always? It's clear here.

Man from europe, reading your post i get the idea, that you think i said there a "no go zones".

Just to make sure, that there is no misunderstanding:

I said there are NO nogoZones, or simpler: I know Cologne is normally safe to travel.
I ve been there a couple of times.

As well i know what kind of mayhem is the norm on new years eve.

i just hate it when the DailyFail is regarded as a better source than all german media

Again:
Täter von Köln: Polizei ermittelt drei Verdächtige

Translates to: Police investigates 3 suspects.

No arrests so far.
AP reported it wrong as well.

No arrests made on NYE, only 3 suspects investigated so far.
Which is showing the police's inabilty.

These attacks were in NO WAY typical of New Year's celebration Anyone who thinks this is acceptable and 'to be expected' behavior is dead wrong.

The truth is the truth is the truth. Hard for me to accept as well but there it is.

The influx of the Arabic culture brings with it an influx of violence and degradation of women, non-muslims, and blacks.

There are obviously many many people from these cultures who are educated and do not hold such base notions. But as we all know there are currently extremist groups who have taken hold in many many pockets who are fueling anger and hatred. They are calling for their people to do these things. They're numbers are much more vast than we once assumed, and, unfortunately, they continue to garner more and more believers. recruits, what have you.

Read the book 'I am Malala.'

We need to control the influx and educate the children to remove these horrible degrading notions from their value system.

Did read
quote:

Roughly: they arrested 5 guys on the 3rd of January for pickpocketing on the 3rd of January.

Same place, same pickpocket trick. But otherwise completely unrelated to the New sears eve.

In my opinion i would not be surprised if these guys also did the same on NYE, but the police cant prove.

Thats not the point. I also never said that these guys were arrested NYE. I did read somewhere that all individuals had new immigration papers on thier persons at the time of arrest. But I cannot seem to find that information anymore, (possibly retracted for whatever reasons).

The point is, that this was in some way organized hence the Der Spiegel links. There is another thread going about this being covered up in the MSM, here on ATS. I don't think it is being covered up, but it is being suppressed, or at the least marginalised.

Hm, I drank quite a bit back in my day and thus had lots of good times, but it never even crossed my mind to rob, molest or rape anyone. Funny that...

As for those three suspects, I have my doubts the police can pin anything on them or anyone else due to the masses of people there. It should be even more interesting once Karneval starts (even with stepped up CCTV surveilance): "Yes Officer, Dracula and Zorro groped and molested me, while a zombie and a clown stole my purse and cellphone!"

It is difficult to understand because it numbs the senses, it is never what we think it is, and it is not black and white.

Maybe this will help a little.

Just pray that this is one thing you can learn about vicariously. First hand experience is not a positive or an asset in this arena.

Definitions of Rape and Sexual Assault

Sexual Assault: the sexual exploitation, forcible penetration, or an act of sexual contact on the body of another person, male or female, without his or her consent.

Rape is an act of power and control, in which the victim is humiliated, degraded, and left with feelings of shame, guilt, and anger. If you are forced against your will to have sex with someone, that is rape.

NC General Statute 14-27 defines rape and sexual assault as the following:
First Degree Rape - a person is guilty of rape in the first degree if the person engages in vaginal intercourse:
With a victim who is a child under the age of 13 years and the defendant is at least 12 years old and is at least 4 years older than the victim;
With another person by force and against the will of the other person and; employs a dangerous or deadly weapon or an article which the other person reasonably believes to be a dangerous or deadly weapon; or inflicts serious personal injury upon the victim or another, by one or more other persons.

Second Degree Rape - a person is guilty of rape in the second degree if the person engages in vaginal intercourse with another person:
By force and against the will of the other person;
or Who is mentally defective, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless, and the person performing the act knows or should reasonably know the other person is mentally, or physically helpless.

First Degree Sexual Assault - a person is guilty of a sexual offense in the first degree if the person engages in a sexual act:
With a victim who is a child under the age of 13 years and the defendant is at least 12 years old and is at least 4 years older than the victim.
With another person by force and against the will of the other person, and: (a) employs a dangerous or deadly weapon or an article which the other person reasonably believes to be a dangerous or deadly weapon, or (b) inflicts serious personal injury upon the victim or another, by one or more other persons, or (c) the person commits the offense aided and abetted by one or more other persons.

Second Degree Sexual Assault - a person is guilty of a sexual offense in the second degree if the person engages in a sexual act:
By force and against the will of the other person, or;
Who is mentally defective, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless, and the person performing the act knows or should reasonably know the other person is mentally, or physically helpless.

Statutory Rape Statutory Rape is a crime in which a minor is manipulated to engage in intercourse with someone older. Many victims do not understand this is a crime because statutory rape considers age difference and not the consent of the individuals.

NC General Statute 14-27 defines statutory rape as:
Statutory Rape - a person is guilty of statutory rape if the person engages in vaginal intercourse or a sexual act with another person:
Who is 13, 14, or 15 years old and the defendant is at least six years older than the person except when the defendant is lawfully married to the person.
Who is 13, 14, or 15 years old and the defendant is more than four but less than six years older than the person except when the defendant is lawfully married to the person.

I almost feel like this is a set up.

Now that they have everyone all riled up, it makes for a perfect storm.

Either the people cower in fear and don't show up for the festivities or people react in kind, and you have a true free for all.

If young men that put their hands were they don't belong, pull back hands missing a digit or two, either the behavior will cease or the violence will escalate.

It sounds too much like a Hollywood script for Purge III.

Yea ...you are right. The stage is set.

I guess carneval this year will get very ugly if "our overlords" cant archieve what they are going for before (closing borders, more police, more surveilance, new laws ...I dont know - or maybe they want germany to play the super-villain again)

Ah ok, little misunderstanding here. No Problem.

About the five persons arrested (unrelated to NYE) as far as i read it was one Syrian, 2 Guys from Maroc and 2 from either Libya or Algeria (i forgot). I also forgot my sources, i think it was express.de (yellowpaper from Köln). It was not stated what their status (immigrant, asylumseeker or 'tourist') is.

You say it was organised: yes, these pickpocketing gangs are a well known problem in Köln.
Spiegel did a short docu on it back in august 2014.

I was actually in Köln, go confonted with the usual trick: one guy trys to come close, do a little dance, while he or his partner tries to rob you.

Did not work with me, i ve seen all these tricks and know how to react.

It works very well on silly tourists and drunks.
Obviously even better in large masses of drunk folks.

Just an update:

The task force of the police increased their team from 9 to 80 (allegedly, because they did not confirm the number, which was published by a local paper).

Also the prosecutor for organized crime started an investigation.

Fails of the police surely happened, but it was a difficult situation.
A girl told infront of camera that she had reported a sexual assault against her and a friend very early, but the officer did not take them for serious. Probably he thought, it was about some drunkards who misbehaved. When the police asked for more witnesses they reported again and it was accepted as criminal complaint.
Usually the station is protected by federal police. But there was a terror warning in Munich and many were removed to Bavaria for this.

I bet there were more fails. Hopefully they do better with the investigations.

I am not one to immediately jump of the "False Flag" bandwagon, but I do think it odd that every time something like this goes down, the Feds or the LEOs are on some kind of training exercise, or alternate mission.

It is starting sound like nothing more than an excuse, or covert plan of some kind, for some sort of not so hidden agenda.

O no, it was not so big. The usual police was present. We distinguish between Landespolizei and Bundespolizei - compared to state police and federal police.
The stations are in responsibility of the federal police. So only the station was not manned completely.

A little confused. These migrants were described as North African/Arabic..aka Black? vs. Syrian refugees or middle east.

As far as "extremist" or religious ideology, from descriptions of raucous drunkenness which is forbidden in Islam altogether, I am not convinced this was an Islam thing, let alone "extremist".

Just want to sort out the facts..

also here...where they have interviewed victims

But Cologne's mayor Henriette Reker has insisted that there is no evidence the men involved in the attacks were refugees.

'There are no indications that there are people involved here who have received accommodation here in Cologne as refugees,' she told a press conference.

Police in Dusseldorf are concerned the attacks are linked to a criminal gang comprising of 2,000 North African men, who sexually assault women as a distraction before stealing their possessions.
