I'm sorry (notreally), but I think you're the one who is oblivious to the real agenda here, both with your government and mine. I never questioned whether the offendors were immigrants. I believe you are more right than wrong. Multi-culturalism does not work, because the way that our government overlords go about it is completely wrong. The current system is something like -
1. Import immigrants.
2. Give immigrants brief and vague rundown of cultural and societal expectations of host country.
3. Let immigrants loose.
4. Do not give any sort of "meet the people" seminars with the original citizens of said host country, nor bother to educate the citizens of said host country about the customs and cultures of their new neighbours.

What this does, is build cultural walls between citizens and immigrants, and results in the newcomers banding together and establishing exclusive communities amongst themselves, because they can't identify with the local community so they stick to what they know.
It's the same situation anywhere in the world.

Meanwhile there are 121 criminal complaints. 3/4 now are sexual assaults.
The police identified 16 suspects.
The criminal police now tries to find evidence against them. Videos are analyzed and witnesses are questioned.

Their cultures are completely alien obviously and dropping them into an alien landscape is setting them up for failure. This failure engenders resentment against the host land.

Within their own ranks there could be, or probably are radicals intent only on the downfall of the west. Because these radicals are violent bullies the rest are subject to their dictates. Must be difficult if that's the case. Must be easy to fuel anger and resentment.

The New Year's eve attackers lack any respect for women or for the city of Cologne. This wasn't a few wayward, drunken teens setting off fireworks and a few unusually thug like pickpockets. This was out-of-control mob frenzy intent on scaring and harming large numbers of people. One woman nearly lost her life when one of the illegal fireworks was shot into the crowd and landed in her jacket hood. Her shoulder was burned horribly but had it exploded she would have died. That was really insane what was going on there that night. Speaks volumes.
