Oh, I guess I should talk shop first so as not to be accused of off topic words.
I saw an earthquake in Northern Nevada about 3.3M. I'm going to wait and see if there's a bunch in Idaho. I know I'm repeating my point about
Nevada/Idaho. Yellowstone is not on my radar much because everything about watching it has been changed.
I hate change. Mexico is being a very active Mexico and now there's warnings about POPO being ready to blow up big time. I got tired of waiting for
that two years ago. Moving on...
Never say I didn't warn you allllllll
I like earthquakes. Because they often make humanity sit up and realize that were not all that big and even if we think we're safe, you can't know
what you didn't know until the event is over. San Francisco leaned that one of an earthquakes most destruction forces can be causing fires. Cities
weren't safe if your gas lines broke and your houses were mostly wood.
Japan learned that the walls weren't high enough for the water. I've learned how the world has failed Haiti.
History has shown that earthquakes have cut down civilizations life stalks of wheat in the field. Ask the Minoans about their glory just before the
fall. (technically it was a volcano, but there were giant earthquakes and a tsunami as well)
And now, for the effin' internet. I hate you. I hate ads. I hate trolls. And I hate waste.
Just before Katrina hit New Orleans, I decided I wanted to run away from civilization. I rejected my computer and even old fashioned machines. I want
to make my own birch bark canoe. I wanted to learn ways in order to restore them.
My plan went horribly wrong and I ended up here, on some digital corner of the universe. There is no escape from this planet, nor from the civilized
beings who dominate here. I have submitted the regime because I have a child. No other reason. Since I am not alone in making anything in this world,
then I can't take it away from this world.
My only thought was to teach my child to navigate this digital world. This brave new world.
Because if I don't, he'll be eaten. So, I thought, how to we deal with advertising. He actually fixed the problem by adding an extension that changes
all ads into a famous internet meme. Then the ads are funny. I find myself laughing at the ads, and actually looking at the boxes that I normally
ignore. It seems there is a battle.
I freaking battle. Let's remember something really important. The internet was designed by the army. Think about it. The internet is war. And someone,
I've recruited again into the system. F.
I came here, because I had something to say. I've said it. I've told you all where the moon came from and still my story is not share widely. Despite
my best efforts, and despite learning more about the world than I ever thought possible.
I think my study of the internet is over. I often find myself asking why the heck am I writing here anyway. My son said I must have written a couple
novels worth of posts. This is not my only persona. I used to write as myself. But somehow, I lost myself along way. I'm more myself today, but lesser
for having to battle so long and so begrudgingly.
I always had to find reasons to care. Reasons to hope.
The internet is not what you think it is.
I told my son yesterday, that if there was a giant magnetic pulse, it could fry all our computers. I asked him, "then, what would you do?"
He can't imagine a world with computers. He's never lived in a world without computers. When my generation dies off, they won't be anyone to remember
a time without computers.
In 1986, I got a Tandy computer. It had a cool green colour and you could print out things that you typed. It was amazing. Then the internet came
along and some of the computers got faster. I eventually got frustrated with the computer and swore it off until it could speed up and deliver all the
things promised.
Now the digital world is fast and in part of every modern convenience, yet, I must find that it has failed miserably at living up to it's potential.
Instead of teaching the world to sing in perfect harmony, we get trolled and rick rolled...
I tried listening to the whole song all the way through and couldn't.
However, I have found one cultural phenomenon that I simply love.
The troll song.
Now I'll go turn my add blocker back on.... and keep it on

A list of the quakes in the area for the date. Obviously, one of those 6.4's is a duplicate. And for some reason, GT translates the characters in the
date sections (far left) to future months. Funny stuff, they can see future quakes XD **Edit: On the page itself when translated, for previous dates,
not today.

6.4 according to JMA. Added to the running list above direct from the linked page. And the live stream has just been a constant bombardment of
aftershocks for them since the first one.
