I saw a big white square with the text on it - burned my retinas, so I have changed it back to just text.

I don't recall what it looked like.

It was the text I have now but it was in a big white rectangle - I thought I had set background to transparent (obviously not), and even as such, it looked naff.

I was just experimenting, and do not like the Big Brother text either.

I was hoping just to have the text showing on the colour background, with maybe something in the top right corner. I just put BB, but an image might be better.

I love it! Just one thing -

Is it possible to change to lower case as all caps is hard to read - or is that dictated by the font?

If not, no problem. I appreciate what you have already done, it is so much better than anything I could do.

Well, I was on a bit of a hiatus after the site changes (background images in all forums and the extendo-backgrounds for mini profiles) knocked the wind out of my sails. The clutter, the inelegance, compared to ATS's originally beautiful and elegant form... T_T

But anyway, I'm back. What's new? Like your new Avvy BFFT, though I feel like the pimp chimp needs a bit more color to him. >_>

Good evening good artists, I am wanting to get myself a new avatar but not sure if what I want is beyond even your combined creative talents?

I love my Avatar but it does cause me quite a lot of problems. I get a lot of messages accusing me of being some kind of upper class eliteist as many people confuse the avatar with my poor Northern English sense of humour.

What I am looking for(and I know this is a pretty big ask) is for me to be an angel. I would like my own head and face on the body of a ripped angel with wings of flames, just to really make it tricky and to stroke my own ego I would like the angel me's body to be wearing a checked shirt with the sleeves ripped off(like a hillbilly or wrestler kind of thing) and in one hand I would like to be holding a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire that is on fire, in the other hand I would like the severed head of my old Avatar.

To top it all of and really ask too much I would like to be stood on top of a pile of slain politicians and bankers and maybe have a rainbow in the background.

Is this in any way possible or am I asking a little too much here?

It is my birthday tomorrow if that makes a difference

Really? I thought I was asking a bit too much with it.

Do I need a good clear shot of my head or can you take it from any old picture? I want it to be epic so will do whatever I can to make it work?

Also could it be made in a resolution that I could have it framed and hung on my wall, I would love to freak guests out with it?

The best way: you have someone snap the photo of you in the pose/clothing you want to wear. I can then add flame wings and have it be large enough/clear enough to make into hanging art.

alternately, if i have the head and any other body parts you want included (don't be cheeky...), i can just amend an existing image.

here's a sample of what I did for Natalia awhile back:

I can't find the source image online right now, but it was a bald angel flying on a white background. Added some hair (nat wanted the blond streak), and the flames and embers.
