Hello fellow ATS members,

I would like to first wish you a Merry Christmas and good holidays.

I'm 23 years old at the moment, still studying IT and I made the stupid decision of accepting to help someone doing something I later found to be scamming banks when I was 20 years old. It was too late to go back and we eventually got caught. I ended up with a lot of debt to banks ( around 40k euro ) and I have not seen the money they want from me. Having a restrained budget because I'm a student ( I give lessons, giving me around 500euro a month and live at my parents' ). I tried trading, casinos, betting with moderate success on casino roulette and betting and no success at trading.

Hence I would like to ask who could help enlighten me and teach me/ guide me towards a way to make lots of money not necessarily instantly ( even though that would be great
)

I really feel like my life is pretty much on stop till I pay this debt, which is a mental burden. I also have a girlfriend and I make the best I can to have her not feel the consequences of that. I know I'm a bit whining about how life isn't fair but hey, gotta deal with it right?

Anyways, sorry for my spelling/grammar, english being my 3rd language. I would like to thank you in advance guys.

Advice:

1. get a job that pays for your labor.

2. pay for your crimes.

One of your mistakes was playing Roulette. If you want to make money learn rock solid Holdem strategy and play at tables composed of mainly old people.

or...

perhaps the banks you ripped off will float you a loan...

You're studying IT, get real good at cyber security. Really really good.
That'll be needed. The better you are the better the pay should be. Eventually.

There's no quick fix.

I would get a full-time job but I have to finish college first, I'm giving lessons though. I'm not a criminal, my ID got used to steal money and now I have to pay for it. Of course banks are a sanctity in this world and raping a child is a minor offense, but f**k a bank and prepare to become "most wanted". I was sent to prison for 2 months where I met some criminals. You definitely don't know what a criminal is, you don't know what it's like to deal people who give no s**t about human life.
I believe I can complain at least a little bit, I'm a human being. If you do not intend on giving me useful advice then please refrain from writing such nonsense.

Try a kickstarter campaign. "Please help me pay the restitution I owe because I committed a crime and got caught. I tried gambling, but that didn't work out too well for me. Now, rather than work it off, I want you to pay my debts for me. Besides, it's all the bank's fault. I'm not a criminal. I just went to jail like one."

The ought to net you a few bucks, er, I mean Euros.

Never steal anything with a value under ten million bucks. And only then if you know you can get away with it. That kind of means most of us will stay honest if we follow those rules.

That is a lot of money, maybe you can go to New York and work trading stocks.

I feel sorry for the americans who have to be represented by people like you. Your way of thinking is so simple and shallow, no wonder this nation is subject to mockery. Please, rethink your approach to this kind of topic.

Where do you live and what country was this commited?

You may have the option of bankruptcy and although it takes time to get over it you are young enough to start over and still have a happy finicial life.

Ignore the idiots and their over inflated opinions.

a reply to: TheAllOne Feel lucky you are not in jail, listen to your question. How do I make money fast, pay it off by staying by quick rich schemes. You are young, it will take time or you will end up worse if you try to take short cuts. It could have been worse, find better friends.

I know, my relative freedom is a thing I cherish. I know good things take time to develop, but I wanted to know if someone out there ( because there are people that do ) knows about a way to make quick money, legally

If you do not want to declare yourself bankrupt then the only other option is to setup a long term commitment repayment plan.

They may take a lower figure if you keep up your payments but as for get rich plans then you are all out of luck.

If they existed and worked do you really think they would be shared with strangers on the internet?

Good luck and take one of the above options, either that or get paid into your other halves bank account and move house every three months.

Or do what I did and simply refuse to pay them, own nothing, have nothing.

They cannot take what you do not have.

I owe about £70,000 as you know that's over 100,000 euro's but I have nothing they can take away so what can they do?

Good Lord. You are a laughingstock, the epitome of the entitlement generation. Not only do you think crime if okay, you want someone else to pay for it. That was MY money you stole. I put it there for safekeeping to keep idiots from stealing it from me. You found a way to scam the banks and now you blame the banks. What utter and complete hypocrisy. You ARE the criminal element and quite obviously two months was not nearly long enough to incarcerate you. Please rethink your approach to this kind of topic.

Bankruptcy! Of course! Steal. Get caught. Can't pay it back? Declare bankruptcy! Utter genius! That's one way of not taking responsibility for your evil deeds.

Thanks for the replies, I will see what I can do, although I do not wish to run, I don't have the strength for that yet, too many ties :'( I wish you the best of luck too, I believe you are in bigger trouble than I am. My best thoughts for you

Pay them 20 Euro a week. Continue to do it, raise it as you make more money. Get started now. Make it part of your routine expenses. They will take it, it will make you look willing to make your 'restitution'. Don't put off starting to pay back whatever you can.

Either that - or plead poverty for life.

Oh, and keep track of your payments - keep them honest as well....
