We have the rest of the year to insult each other.

To those of you saying that the 44% want to help people, you need to snap out of it and realize that they just want to feel like they are helping people, without having to actually do anything. That's why I'm losing respect for the same side I used to be on. I'm so tired of my peers, who are mostly young democrats (the 66% in this poll), just telling themselves they're the good guys, while they do nothing and have no real-world knowledge. If you read the full article, the result of both the polls is that most young democrats would make a knee-jerk decision with no details.

On both sides, clearly the majority don't want to hurt anyone. I guess it just bugs me when some people want a gold star for it.
