I've seen this strange object two times and can't for the life of me identify what it is.

(Sorry for double post)

This is probably just really bad luck, but something very peculiar happened and it really screwed me over.

So today I had some finals, was ready to take them, spent the whole night studying and doing some assignments last minute. I wake up at 5:40 every day and leave at 6:20. Very tight schedule. My school is far away so I don't want to spend all the gas to get there in my car, so I save lots of money riding the bus.

So tonight I'm studying hard and finish at 5:00, 40 minutes before I had to wake up so I figured I'd at least get some shut-eye. I wake up expecting it to be close to the time where I wake up, and to my horror the clock reads 7:02. Now, I don't use the clock/alarm applications on the phone since a simple thing of forgetting to turn sound on can ruin your day, so I have one of those old '90s clock radios. Always goes off, extremely reliable.

Here's the peculiar thing though - I have three alarms, an extra one in the middle just in case the first one doesn't go off and I can still leave in time. But the probability of all three alarms not going off is very unlikely. The only thing I can imagine is I was so tired I hit the "Reset Alarm" button in my sleep, but I've had many restless nights and the alarm always brings me straight up from my bed.

So, I figured, alright I'll just take my car there. I get ready, get in the car and put the keys in the ignition and it says I'm almost out of gas when I distinctively remembered having it 3/4 of the way full.

So now I'm just laying in bed wondering what the hell happened and what I'm going to do about making up these finals. Just wanted to share.

The classic nocturnal Alien abduction lost time/electronics device failure/siphoned gas scenario.

They don't want you to pass your finals.

Guess so. Maybe they were trying to stop me from walking into a school shooting, who knows?

Or inventing something later in life which would threaten their civilization.

This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder. I look out my door because I was going to go for a bike ride and left my bike out, so I was making sure my bike was still there, and instantly I see a giant horse in my yard. (My neighbor's horse). It doesn't make any sense how it got into my yard because at one point in the fence, the bottom of it was just completely off, and strewn off to the side like it was sawed off with powertools, and there only remained the top part which the horse must have fiddled with to get into my yard. It wasn't like this before because I was walking down my lawn yesterday and the fence seemed perfectly fine.

The thing that freaks me out the most isn't that I somehow went from 5 AM to 7 AM and don't know what happened between this whole timeframe, but the fact that the alarm had to be physically stopped or turned off. I've literally come home to times where the alarm is ringing because I pressed snooze instead of reset and it goes on the whole entire day before it's turned off by me.

I can't wrap my head around how it never went off. Definitely something weird is going on.

I definitely agree. Your story is very intriguing and I'm sure it's unnerving. Someone or something is making sure you are noticing their presence since you began posting about the objects in the sky. I hope you find answers. Plenty of people have had similar experiences so you're not alone. I haven't but I've known countless people who have.

hi, am new to this but have had some very similar experiences.
what you have seen its just some satelites they are very commun.
if you go outside and spent some time after dark looking into the sky you should be able to see some ,if your luky will see some ,maybe three or more in one hour.

That's odd, why is it that SkyView says it isn't identified as a satellite?

Can you explain how it was moving, its light etc.? Some details are very important to tell if it was a real ufo (most likely from extraterrestrial origin) or just something explainable.

As I already explained skyviews list of 20,000 objects doesn't include 9000 of the 29000 objects larger than 10cm, some of which are "space junk" like rocket boosters and not bona fide satellites, and rocket boosters can look pretty much like the video posted in this thread when they tumble.

How many different screens do you have to look at on SkyView to even see all the 20,000 satellites it does have, have you figured that out yet?

I don't know where you're at, but in the quiet country of NW Louisiana, I've seen similar. When I was 9 (1988), my dad was at work and I was helping my mom unload horse feed in the barn. Above the tree line about 100 yards in front of us, I saw something that resembled an odd shaped square (kind of like the sandcrawler in Star Wars) with red lights all the way around it. I pointed it out to my mom and I knew when she saw it hovering there and got scared and grabbed my hand to run inside, it wasn't just my imagination. I remember like it was yesterday. She said "What is th.....oh damn!" We ran inside the back door, I ran through the den and kitchen and out of the front door but it was gone. That's the closest I've ever seen a UFO.

Seems they love to make appearances in wide open country towns, particularly near farms.

Edit: It was around 6pm on a winter evening so it was dark outside. I remember her hollering at me to get back inside while she called my dad to tell him what she saw.

Being new, as you stated, and not used to using the posting functions yet perhaps you meant to respond to supermagma as that is the person who started this thread and is having this experience. The problem with the satellite answer is, if you read this entire thread, supermagma is having unusual (what may be termed as typical paranormal-type) experiences since posting about what he/she witnessed and photographed in the sky.

Personally, I've seen plenty of satellites but not what supermagna has described and pictured.

I can't tell you the exact number of screens I have to go through as I didn't count, I just know I went through a lot.

The problem with it being as simple as "space junk" is the fact that I've seen it three times, the first two almost being in the same spot but closer. As much as I wish it was coincidental, I don't think that space junk would appear this oftenly and have the apperance that it does.

It'd stay in place for the majority of the time in my view except for occasionally and seamlessly moving to the right and left and at one point diagonally. As far as I can tell, the light was flashing with no particular pattern and would stop and continue again in some instances.

Edit: Keep a lookout for a new post/edit. Something unusual happened again today and I have pictures I'm currently uploading, but my 4G data got slowed down so I have a cringeworthy 0.05mbps upload speed.

Edit 2: Might as well post what happened now while it's still fresh in my brain.

Today I rode my bike to a local hardware store to use their Wi-Fi (don't ask why they have public Wi-Fi), and I was downloading some movies and stuff to keep me busy since I don't have Internet at home. Maybe 3 hours go by, and I notice this strange man in my peripheral walking on the street towards the sidewalk quite literally coming out from out of nowhere. He has brown shoes, black dress pants, a black watch, red dress shirt, and a black fedora-type hat. What I noticed mostly about his apperance was his bright, yellow tinted skin. From what I could tell, he had no distinct facial features. He's walking erratically, not even in a straight line and his legs are contorted to the side when he takes a step like he had just learned to walk.

Me being perplexed, I open up my camera and subtly record him. The second I press record, he stops walking and slowly turns around. Then looks right at me, right at my camera. I immediately stop recording and act like I'm not looking at him, as he startled the life out of me. In the corner of my eye I see him give me a grin. Then he starts walking away again, acting like it never happened. I snap a quick picture of him walking again and continue to watch him.

He walks forward and turns left, going onto another area of sidewalk. He walks behind a tree and I wait for him to emerge back, but he never does. I go and investigate, and there's no trace of him anywhere.

I really don't know if I'm just going crazy. It's possible it was just a coincidence that he turned around at the exact time I started recording, but I don't know. The video is only two seconds long, so I don't know if I should even bother uploading it. The pictures I'm trying to upload are just screengrabs from the video.

So in other words, you're not very proficient with or familiar with how to use SkyView, so when you say it didn't show up on SkyView, that may be true only because you were not looking at the right screen.

In fact that's one of the complaints about SkyView, that you can't see all the satellites on one screen, though it would be pretty crowded if they did that because there are not only a lot of satellites, but there's even more space junk than there are satellites.

I fail to see why with your good viewing conditions you couldn't see some of these 29,000 objects more than three times. You could be seeing something else but really that argument makes no sense to me.

Re: "Edit 2"

Wow, that does seem like a weird experience!

When you say his skin was "yellow tinted", do you mean as in 'oriental' skin tone? Or like a yellow crayon?

Can't wait to see the screen shots...

I fail to understand your hostility through this whole conversation. You're telling me that I don't know how to use a simple application? At least try to be reasonable, now you just sound silly.

Not only are you claiming I don't know how to go onto the right screen, but you're also proposing that this "space junk" is in the same spot more than once and speeds off, and then shows up again. Isn't space junk supposed to be in orbit, which means they move around the Earth? If you just simply watched the videos, it's clearly the same object. I guess we're in the same boat, because your argument doesn't really make any sense at all to me either.

Dont be afraid of what's happening, embrace it. Something out there is trying to communicate with YOU. Dont over exploit the situation (take the battery out of your phone). They chose for you to see this (object disappearing when bus comes). Go out a little bit early or whenever you feel it is right and maybe they will give you a show. You lucky to be in a low density area.

Yep. That's a time traveler.

Although he doesn't look that much different than a lot of dudes wandering around my Hollywood neighborhood, so I can only conclude that my neighborhood is full of time travelers.
