Donald Trump wants to close up the Internet

Well I am Trump fan no more. He seems to think the internet is responsible for creating terrorism and wants some aspects of it shut down..

He also seems to not care about the freedom of speech in this country.

We had terrorist long before we had an internet so this doesnt follow..

I think this is the end of Trump. He doesn't want to abide by the constitution. He doesn't want Freedom; he wants control.

I think he means more along the lines of allowable discourse. Two way discussion about certain subjects, certain subjects themselves.

He said "we're losing a lot of people on the internet".

Main stream TV is one way, top down, guess where they want the internet to wind up?

Hillary said it too, along the lines of, The internet is a war of information and "we" are losing that war.

Wow! Now he FINALLY attacked one of the more sacred Amendments in a way that was less xenophobic. Hopefully THIS is the idiocy that causes people to stop supporting him. I'm guessing not. I'm sure someone will be along to rationalize his words or angrily call us idiots for not hanging on his every word.

Good! I'm with him! Delete Facebook from existence and make the internet for reference only. Some social networking should be in place as long as it's not social "media". Reference and networking - that's all we need.
But otherwise, the internet has been a downer for about a decade. Nothing very good coming from it all much anymore.

I doubt it will be the end of Trump. The badge wearing thing SHOULD have been the end of Trump after his open misogyny, Mexican rant dance, making fun OPENLY of the DISABLED, but it WASN'T.

I am afraid. He must have a well funded crowd of people to gauge his popularity on social media after making these responses. The same folk must also comb through to find what "Joe Sixpack" who works at the turd factory is angry about and Trump can play to great effect and, better yet, FREE PUBLICITY!

What they hate is the free exchange of information. Someone says something and it can be viral in a minute…
