He won't say it the way GB did (thats too obvious), but the message will be something along the lines of increased operations in Syria. They do this each new phase of the operation to subjugate that beleaguered country.

The announcement of aid to "Syrian rebels", the emplacement of Patriot batteries in Turkey, the beginning of ISIS, the bombing of Kobani and Allepo. Now that France, UK, Turkey, and US (NATO) assets surround the country…

Its been taking longer than planned, here we are four years later and still Assad remains in control. They have to move forward, maybe a little to soon, the Russians are spoiling the works.

He's going to announce he'll ramp up bombing against ISIS by only giving their oil truck drivers a 30 minute warning before they launch a missile at them, instead of the current 45.

If it were urgent, he'd call it today. They must just hinge on the next 24 hours after this announcement to gauge the publics opinion.

Leaving the sarcasm aside, I will say that to make an announcement on a Sunday, it has to do about terrorism.

Given that the public is likely to be preoccupied and the media pundits at home, its a good time to either....

A). Drop bad news or unpopular proposals.
B). Give a speech that you really dont want to give; for this guy, that would most likely be a very, very grudging admission that his national security policy is a dud.

There's a better chance that pig's fly and ISIS will put them on the menu than option B, so get ready for a crappy proposal and an executive order.

He needs to try and help the Dem Presidential candidates "walk back" their collective knee jerk "gun control" babble before the facts were known...

I thought that it might wait for Monday, but coming forward on Sunday may just work better to help on the political angle...

He met with Gabby Giffords yesterday evening, so I'm predicting new gun control legislation laced with an amorphous statement about stepping up bombing against ISIS.

I have a hard time believing that the democrats or the republicans will make any significant changes to gun laws because the gun and ammo industry is rather powerful.

So my guess is he is going to talk harsh about guns with no actions to follow but the gun and ammo industry sales will go through the roof.

Much like the congress debacle with the ceo bailouts. Lots of harsh words but the ceo laughed to the bank on their tax payer paid luxury jets ride to cash in their 50 million dollar bonus.

But get ready for patriot act on roids .

All anyone can do here is argue from ignorance.

The only thing that could basically be agreed upon here is that he's going to say something. That's it. We don't know what.

Platitudes obviously. Emotive language - even more obvious. Political speak (meaning it'll be more hollow than a cave the size of the moon) devoid of ANY meaning or direction. More platitudes. Something about being great and exceptional.

Politicians can 100% at all times be relied on to do one thing and that is, they have a 2 hour long monologue and at the end of it you realise you've learned nothing as they're towing a party line (corporately made) that HAS NO MEANING.

God it makes me so mad!!!!!! I GRANTEE you he's not going to say a DAMN THING about ANYTHING. They never do, whatever he says they'll do something else...... We're discussing people here whose basic training tells them to NEVER say yes or no. Ever.

They change the language, and as soon as anyone tries that, they should be killed. It's that simple. Because they're lying.
