My Pops is a Super Genius. He will be 89 this month. He has many titles. Biologist, Chemist, Director of research for a fortune 500 company, and an in depth medical background as well. He was summoned to the Whitehouse in the mid 70s for a meeting with the Vice President and secretary of Agriculture, and they followed his reccomendations. There is far more I cant tell you.


He says this: There is constant climate change on Earth. He believes that people are using global warming statements to profit off of others. It is about money. Fear tactics are being used, for profit. Huge profits

Have no idea where to stand on this. There seems to be a mix of compelling arguments, BS, corporate interest, vitriol, insanity and propaganda on both sides which makes it nearly impossible for the average person to draw any kind of informed conclusion.

Convoluted would be an understatement.

Here is a tidbitt that I shouldnt share. Dads friend worked at Intel when it first went into production. When they first made chips, they made 3. One of the three didnt look so nice and was unsellable by their standards. My Pops friend got it and gave it to him. He built one of the first PCs complete with military monitor and many functions. He was featured in a high profile Newspaper with pictures that filled the whole section, In California, In the 70s. Long before any Gates, Jobs or anyone else.
He says Global warming is false. He says it is climate change, and it has been happening since day one. He is well off and cant be bought. He has principals, and wont bent for politics. He welcomes others to decide for them selves. I continue to attempt to have him come on here and do presentations, to no avail so far. Im still trying

So how does he explain the heat island effect? Cities are up to 10 degrees warmer than other areas, I suppose that's a natural cycle too??

Florida is still there, the midwest isn't a lake, hell even New Orleans, the city below sea level is still there after a giant hurricane PUT it UNDER water, the water went back. Sea levels seem fine. Just a quick point of fact. They have pumps running all day long to keep it from flooding. During Katrina, the hurricane pushed the water over the sea wall, overwhelming the pumps and flooding the city. New Orleans sinks lower and lower every year because its sea wall prevents the deposit of new soil to replace that which continues to be washed out by tidal forces. So, if you're point is to argue that New Orleans just naturally stopped being flooded on its own, that's not really true.

a reply to: CB328 I will have to ask Him. He still has his own home he built in the 50s that I grew up in and is both physically and very mentally active to this day. He paints , gardens, does research and takes naps. He only looks about 70.
Ask me and I would say asphault and plenty of it. He might disagree. I dont know what he would say. He would probably feed you numbers you would have a hard time comprehending. Thats what he has always done to me. Im not genius. Im only a few points below, and I cant comprehend.

Any data that is changed is corrupt and unusable...with very few exceptions.

The fact that this NOAA data is "adjusted" invalidates it...

Do you even know what that means, or the reasons for the adjustment? Or are you just saying that JUST because the data needed adjusting that makes it obsolete? Because that is a very unscientific position you are adopting there.

When "they" speak the truth in regards to the largest contributor of GHG (livestock), THEN I'll give it my attention. Until then, I see the way in which the human caused global warming narrative is portrayed, as a hoax.

Carbon tax? Really? That's their answer? When has taxes ever served the interest of anyone other than an elite? or solved major social issues? They never have. And they never will.

Maybe it just goes to show how absolutely screwed up the system is.

Global warming happens for natural reasons because of natural processes that we silly half-witted humans don't really understand.

So far as most in the know, know, global cooling is more likely to occur from the injection of carbon dioxide and methane into the biosphere / environment.

The proof is in the cores where natural balancing processes occur to re-capture carbon dioxide and methane when concentrations become too heavy.

We more than likely have an ice age coming than global warming.

It's about balance.

The one thing mankind will not allow.
