I'm sorry I can't trust any information coming from law enforcement, the media, anyone in authority. They don't have a good record of telling the truth and invariably they have some kind of agenda they want to promote.

If he is, as has been reported, an American Citizen, wouldn't it be a domestic terror attack? Maybe he is involved with Radical Islam. He was at the party, left angrily, and came back then SHTF.

It would be one hell of a sad twist if he was Christian, and fed up with everything broad brush being applied to him. It's not impossible you know, one of my husband's closest friends is a Christian from the ME. He wouldn't go shooting anywhere up EVER, but I could see a ME Christian snapping under the current wave of American anti-ME'er rhetoric. Giving people a real reason to hate them kind of thing.

They are now taking back the claim of a pipe bomb per local law enforcement. Maddow on MSNBC.

The way things work is that the shooter was a citizen, that deems the incident domestic.

And no I don't agree with the calling or wording, but if the incident is linked to any terrorist groups claiming the deed, then it changes things and will turn into an international incident.

Knowing how our government works I am sure that if no terrorist groups claim to be behind the killings it will stay as domestic terrorism.

Imagine that, I just said on the last page I didn't think he cMe back with friends but possibly family. Being family and being upset long enough, you would have lots of time to plan if you thought something wasn't going to go your way or whatever. Also mentioned that I thought being family might explain the woman involved as well.

Actually family would usually exclude a female. People don't take their sister or mom to go attack people and get killed by police this means it's ideology that's most likely involved.

Sad and funny I went on a tirade at home about Paris and ended with a "watch, America's next in the coming days not even weeks" .....shocker. No mas.

A terrorist incident by a guy and his brother. Sound familiar?

I agree, only if an international terrorist group claim to be behind the attack, meanwhile the shooter being a citizen even if he was not born in the US makes it a domestic incident.

My condolences and thoughts to all the people that lost loved ones in this chaotic mess.

I was not being ungracious, the first full name I saw was as I stated.

But we have a much much larger problem here in that multiple spellings and people are being doxed here.

No worries man. Collaborative effort from multiple people. I think somebody else threw out the Sayed part within a couple of pages of my post and hillbilly was the first to confirm it was a complete name and not two different people.

And let us not forget, folks, (I'm really not trying to puff up my own posts here, I think it's worth recalling) that the dispatcher said she believed another unit within the PD/SO had been working on something as recently as last week (she thought) and Farooq's name had been involved in that. Another unit then confirmed that he was in fact the subject of...something. They never specified what or how they came across his name, but it was in fact confirmed.

Well ISIS has passed up the opportunity to claim it.

To me it is more likely they go workplace violence then domestic.
Domestic is a really hard sell if it isn't homegrown american ideology.

just fyi hat area is littered with cameras bc of crime in that area.. this whole thing was probably taped from before these people got to the scene

Yes, this is all factual; dispatch did advsie of this and several posters concurred (we may have disagreed on spelling, but mehhh) all correct.
