About two hours ago he went to the spot I believe he is still in and pulled up a chair and sat down.

I know one of the EMTs there. His wife sent this to me.

Fwd: Hey there, there is more shooting occurring. There may be eventually over a dozen injuries. I have no idea about fatalities.
National news has picked it up and the president has been notified. The FBI has been called in as well
Jeff said one officer is dead. On TV you can see people being loaded into ambulances as they try to secure the parking lot in an effort to get civilians who have been shot. Say a prayer, Jeff is on one of the ambulances and is close to being next in line to head up and get a patient.

They are getting closer to being able to isolate his room in the building. They can shoot through the walls but someone is hiding in a room behind him.

I was thinking the same.

I have only been listening for an hour but radio traffic has made it sound, for lack of a better phrase, "not as bad as it could be."

Depending on the status of the shooter and how they decide to neutralize him, I wonder if they are going to bring in a bomb robot to scout the area for I.E.D's.

I'm nervous for them all. They're about to bring it to an end. Here's hoping they're all safe after this encounter.

Especially if they have an ID on the guy and him background may give reason to aspect that possibility.

They pretty much said that at the press conf. Items he brought in that they need to investigate even after they got everyone out.

Perhaps they went "private channel" for the plans? Because they are back now...sounds like getting ready for an on air briefing before going in to get him.
