Oh I'm very aware of that fact ...

I just don't think I have special powers to glance at a photo and know everything about a stranger.

Deadline extended for protest shooting charges Hennepin County prosecutors received an extension until noon Monday to charge or release suspects in an incident where five people were shot near the 4th Precinct police station in north Minneapolis.

"Although the investigation will continue over the Thanksgiving weekend, no further developments will be reported by this office until Monday," his office added.

This ain't looking good for anyone. I'm wondering if they're keeping these guys in jail for their own protection. Nor would I be surprised if charges were filed against some of the protesters involved, at least the guy(s) who threw punches in the initial confrontation, and perhaps some against those who tried to chase the White guys down. I will be very surprised if the White guys are charged with attempted murder -- too easy to prove aggression on the part of the protesters involved. (And too many people are too quick to condemn everyone in the BLM for the bad behavior of a few... a very few.) But maybe some kind of harrassment? Provocation? I don't know.

And there's t his from the Star Tribune:

A Mankato police officer said he got a phone call about 1 a.m. Tuesday from an old high school friend.

The man on the other end of the line was Allen Lawrence “Lance” Scarsella III, who confessed that just two hours before he had shot five people at a protest outside the Minneapolis Police Department’s Fourth Precinct station, according to court documents.

and they're 1st Amendment right to protest is valid.

They have the right to peacefully assemble and petition the government for a redress of grievances, which it sounds like they were doing. Kind of refreshing change of pace.

It sounds like cops to be honest. All the information and lack of evidence, it sounds like undercover instigators.

Edit: also, no new developments? Im just scanning over material here. But 1, it doesnt sound like they came to the protest as white supremacists at all. The two guys in the video say one had a BLM sign, but they asked them to take off their masks and no one complied.

Additionally, other reports say they had bullet proof vests, pepper spray and were armed.

They hesitated drawing their weapons until they were out of camera range. But they obviously felt threatened. Once they left, "fled the scene" and were chased by BLM protestors, they fired 8 rounds, but no deadly shots. It seems like they were aiming to kill anyone.

It really sounds like provocateurs who were there for a different reason, but with standard police training, and a dash of "I felt threatened for my life" (which its pretty easy to make cops feel threatened) we have this incident as a result.

Correct me if my data is outdated. I havent been following every break in this story. But right now it sounds like we have a few well armed, masked men, who showed up to the BLM protest, were antagonized immediately, fled the scene but opened fire soon after when those said protestors chased them down, all of the shooters wearing body armor and masks.

Among the other demands, and they make it clear this is just the beginning of their demands, the students from BLM stated that they want to stop anyone from saying phrases they might view as "racist" including phrases such as "all lives matter", and they also want for people to take "re-education classes" if they say any phrase they might deem as racist, including "all lives matter"...

Not to mention that they also want for white people to ask forgiveness from all blacks simply for being white.

This is what I'm wondering how did they know? Did they pin their kkk identification card to their shirts. Or did they have their clan robes in their hand and just hadn't put them on yet? Reading the police reports they are looking for 3 white males and apparently the incident started when they surrounded them and tried to move them away from the protest. So all we know is they pissed off 3 people enough to shoot at them. Think they are stick the racist label to quickly until we learn more.

However I will say thus anti police rallies is doing far more damage then good. You create hatred of the police then people stop listening to the police. This leads to failure to comply when they say things like let me see your hands and then people die. So you could say they are making the problem they are trying to resolve worse.

Woooooow. Comparing BLM, a civil rights movement hoping to stop the rampant killing of blacks by police, in a country where blacks are still lynched, to ISIS, is ridiculous. Especially considering the mountains of evidence that the US government wants ISIS to destabilize the region, and played a huge part in its creation.

Trump supporters recently ganged up and beat on a BLM protester at one of his rallys chanting ALM, one going so far as to try and choke he man, with trump saying he deserved it. The irony of All Lives Matter is that none of them actually believe all lives matter, they are just mad at the assumption that black lives matter means they matter more than others, when in reality, you only care about white lives.

Nobody deserves to be terrorized and murdered.

Protesting against widespread police corruption, conspiracy, and murder, does not mean that they deserve to be killed. And if you are agreeing with racists, and white suprematists, Donald Trump, CNN, and FOX news, you need to wake yourself up and take a serious look in the mirror. Have some humanity for gods sake.

I assume you don't believe that racism, crime, rioting, etc. is a GOOD thing...right? You can't expect people to care very much when a group steps up and says "respect us and treat us as equals" when they have these level of problems that they haven't solved. No one in their right mind wants to say "we accept you...including your criminals, rioters, victims, etc.". This goes (for example) for the religious also...including Christians who don't raise a finger to stop violent abortion protesters or Muslims who don't raise a finger to stop terrorism. Why do you think Christians and Muslims are "addressed" so often on ATS? But you don't see Christians (example) out there crying victim and "Christian Opinions Matter".

And then you contrast that litany against the Black community with how hard you work what a good set of parents you and your wife are ... Etc etc.

How telling. you said you cant look at a picture and tell someone mind right? Same with a video at times. The protestors were caught on camera beating the masked men for refusing to reveal their faces.

Then ran off and some of th eprotestors followed. they tried to get away so they would not have to shoot anyone apparently. IF they planned to just gun protestors down they would had done so outright dont you think?

Sure the cops are stupid and a few of them are bad. Sure the protestors feel as if th ewhit eman i skeeping them down,but that dont excuse them starting the altercation by surrounding the men,and demanding they remove their mask. If they would had left it alone there would not had been any shooting.
