Yes, we should just ignore the problem like our dear leader Obama who termed the slaughter in Paris of 129 innocents as just a 'setback' in his fight against ISIS. Make no mistake about it, what happened in Paris is going to happen here in the US. We have tens of thousands of soft targets, and our political correctness will exacerbate the likelihood it will happen sooner rather than later. If my concern about the safety and well being of my friends and family is viewed as stupid, bigoted, etc. and voicing these concerns on what I thought was an open discussion forum (while minding Ts & Cs) can get me banned, so be it. My loved ones are more important to me than this site.

Um, the only problem with this is that the first thing the ancient Muslim faith did was go forth and try to conquer the known World, including Europe. History, it is what it is. I AM NOT saying that we should hate the Muslim faith or anyone who practices it. But to say that it has never committed the same sins as any other is fallacy.

I dont think it hsd anything to do with people fearing Islam.. I for one, and I know the majority of Americans are not scared of Islam.

We are just starting to hate it and want to eliminate it all together..

the attacks were not committed by Muslims, they were committed by a bunch of idiots who have hijacked the religion in order to force their own screwed up views on the rest of the world, people who put the blame on Muslims need to educate themselves or just stay out of issues that they clearly don't understand.

i believe whole heartedly in free speech, what i do not believe in is vilifying an entire sub-set of people due to the actions of a few morons... if you want to play the who is worse game, white Christians like myself have spent thousands of years torturing and murdering innocents, the American people almost wiped out the native tribes, the British empire enslaved millions, yet we are not blamed and judged for those atrocities, double standards abound..

it is atrocious the way many innocent Muslims will now be vilified because of the actions of a few despicable human beings spreading their hate in a guise of a religion that they are not adhering to

It is fear..because you know nothing of it and just listen to what others tell you about it. Do you understand that not all Muslims are evil , that all of them do not follow sharia law or do you even know anything about Islam?

Fear and ignorance is taught and unless you can tell us with a shadow of a doubt that Islam is evil, you are teaching those same things.

Well said OP. The more hatred innocent muslims receive the more reason they have to assume the west hate their ways and the more reason to join ISIS. I don't think that this is the sole reason people join, there will always be nutters who think there's a God who wants them to butcher people, but it doesn't help in the slightest.

A friend of mine is a Hippie, and although spiritual, he does not believe in a God. But we live in the UK and he went to a local mosque to show solidarity with Islam and the group prayed to Allah for the lives lost over the weekend. That's how we overcome people who look to divide.

I will admit though, I'm one of the least racist people I know but when I heard our neighbours in France had been attacked AGAIN and having been close enough to the 7/7 bus bombing to know how much horror it puts in to peope's lifes, I felt some hatred for a short while. Afterwards I remembered this is a small group of criminals who don't in anyway, shape or form represent their faith anymore than Hitler represents a Austrian/ German or Andres Brevik represents a Christian from Norway.

One of my friends just told me "sadly I think that whole area needs to be cleansed". I don't even know what that means, but it sounds pretty "kill a bunch of people-esque". I will admit that some are upping the rhetoric. This can't end well if people are talking about "eliminating" things. Again though, do whatever you want, just don't involve me. My life is way too peaceful for all this garbage.

I keep thinking what angle are we to take here with this terrorism , some say do nothing , dont react to their hatred , but then what of the lost lives , how can we make their deaths mean something here , but then how can the french tell a good muslim from bad? Can a non violent deportation of all muslims from a country be possible? Who are these radicals , are they simply extremists or have they been hand picked from whoever is controlling isis , is isis just the NWO's mobile red herring? Are we just playing into their "cause and effect " hands , Sadly I'm afraid so.

This Thread: About Hating Muslim

2/3 of the threads you linked are years old. You know what's changed since then? Not a thing! Not one single thing. That's like saying "Don't make me turn this car around" 50 times and just giving up, knowing you wont turn the car around because the trip home would be just silly. Everything I mentioned in my response was accurate and current.

How about putting some good old substance behind the warnings? How about actually doing something about it rather than letting it continue? These forums would be an informational paradise if people didn't get punched in the literate face every time they decided to put up an idea or a theory or just their thought of mind on subjects that many people literally seek out to destroy and have no interest in but only that. That not only saddens me.. It sickens me.

This is supposed to be a place to explore your ideals, your beliefs and imagination with like minded people. Not hateful single minded people. Good investigative work comes from good arguments of ideas. Not a one way road block.

So I challenge the MODS, the owner and partners... DO something about IT. Don't just talk about it.
