It was a South Park reference from Episode I of this year. Watch it, you will immediately get the joke.

Oh, ok.

HE...This person is a he, cross dresser perhaps, but still male as define by the term:

"a person bearing an X and Y chromosome pair in the cell nuclei and normally having a penis, scrotum, and testicles, and developing hair on the face at adolescence; a boy or man. "

No, it's a she.

You know what rhymes with "Caitlyn Jenner's just run into me"...?

Changing gender for publicity.

Which I don't think she did.

Nor do I.

I think it's very brave what she did.

Do you think any of those protesting would want to be under the microscope Caitlyn is forced to be under?

No. Even if that family loves attention, this attention is not easy or fun.

No civilized human wants to see sick people. They need help. Not coddling, hugs or validation. Help them rise above thier illness. I picture you hugging the breath, out of a cute animal, because it's so cute! You just want to hug it real tight, because you can relate to it.

Protesters Confront Caitlyn Jenner: 'You're An Insult To Trans People'

Here's some interesting controversy within the transgender community. Apparently Jenner was keyed to speak at the Chicago House Speaker Series. Yet many protesters were upset with this decision saying that she (yes she's a she) is a poor representation of the transgender community because she is a rich, white woman and many transgender people are poor and maybe even homeless.

Jenner was chosen to speak at the Chicago House Speaker Series luncheon for the Chicago House, which helps those affected by HIV/AIDS in the LGBT community, on Thursday.

Some, however, were unhappy about Jenner being the keynote speaker. A group of protesters stood outside to challenge the former Olympian. In the video above, one protester says to Jenner: "You are an insult to trans people, you are an insult to women. You have no right to represent us."

The video shows Jenner approaching one protestor, seemingly attempting to diffuse the situation and telling her she loves her.

“The chaos outside was a great contrast to the uplifting atmosphere inside where Caitlyn had just given her speech,” Chicago radio host Showbiz Shelly told ET. “I thought she handled the situation with poise. By confronting the protesters in the way she did, she emphasized the themes she talked about in her speech. To be respectful, be brave and stand up for what you believe in.”

Here is a facebook post that sums up the anger of these protesters.

Who, you may ask, did they select to speak on the issues facing trans people and especially trans women in our city? Caitlyn Jenner. Caitlyn Jenner, who lives in a mansion and has a net worth of millions of dollars, while the average trans person has a 41 percent chance of experiencing homelessness [sic] and a nearly 50 percent chance of living off less than $10k per year ...

If you think Chicago House’s shameless pandering to the trans community for mediocre representation, embodied by a clueless rich white woman who thinks disenfranchised trans women of color should just pluck themselves up off the street and stop being so lazy, is an insult and a disgrace, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Meet us in the lobby Thursday to tell Chicago House, Caitlyn Jenner, and all her supporters that Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t represent trans people! Stand up and say: #IAintCait!”

To be honest, I'm not too keen on the woman either. I'm glad she got sex reassignment and she is happy with her decision, but Jenner was an asshole before, and changing your gender doesn't exactly change your temperament. Why did the media forget about this just because Jenner came out as transgender?
Bruce Jenner: Fatal Car Wreck May Be His Fault According To New Evidence

The real story is that Bruce was driving his Cadillac Escalade and hauling an ATV on a trailer when cars in front of him started to slow down on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, a police source told The Associated Press on Feb. 18.

Unable to stop in time, Bruce rear-ended two cars — one of which was Kim Howe’s Lexus, which was on-coming pushed into traffic. She was killed after her vehicle was hit by a Hummer.

Seriously, there are MUCH better candidates we could look at as good leaders of the transgender community. It also makes me a bit upset that we are allowing social consciousness to excuse someone from having committed a VERY serious crime.

This is the perfect place for her to speak to get attention for this cause. I really should have looked at where she was speaking and for what.

I'm distracted. One of my cats got out when the wind blew the side door open, she is hiding under the house. So I have the front door propped open so she comes back in while the other cat is shut in the bathroom.

Except your "medicine" to help these people would be the equivalent of giving someone herpes to treat crabs. The "medicine" that is used to help these people these days is to council them and help them transition to the opposite gender using modern medical science. If you cannot accept that then YOU are bigoted plain and simple.

Hey if she wants to speak, let her. If she is going to speak and promote good causes, great. I just don't like her being the face of the transgender community because of her shady past.

Or not all progressives agreed, just because some do doesn't mean all do. I personally don't care for her, don't think she needs to be demonized but hardly needs to be celebrated.

P.C. Principal says she is brave and beautiful.

On topic, they could have picked a thousand better examples then this fame-whoring jackass.

Disagree. PC principal says Caitlyn is not enough of a victim to discrimination due to wealth and a shallow public-image.

They could have picked anyone but they picked Caitlyn. What grounds do these protesters have to reject her legitimacy? Success? Wealth? Regardless of how little she's done to earn either, Caitlyn Jenner stands as proof that you can come out as a transgendered woman, be embraced by the public, and be wealthy and successful for totally barfy reasons -- same as anyone who is not transgendered. Caitlyn is a fair representative of a transgendered woman, no one has the right to deny her sexual identity.

But, I don't think she fits the narrative these protesters prefer -- nothing more.

Personally, I hate the Real Housewives of *insert city name here," and cannot stand that they are the chosen representatives of any group of women in any city. But Andy Cohen lines his pockets portraying women in the worst light possible. Andy would be the first person to declare someone a Jackhole for any perceived slight against the LGBT community. I would love to see him cast Caitlyn on his franchise…in the name of equality, of course.

"Transgender community"? ... Sounds like they're not as communal/normal as they'd wish folks to believe. So there's a "community" within...a community? Why does the media help spread this crazy talk? ATS is right. There's definitely a "conspiracy".

No community is a hive mind of exactly the same thoughts... The only people who seem to think that are the ones talking about the "homosexual agenda" and idiotic things like that.

Keep digging that hole...

Well do you think that Fred Phelps is a good person to represent Christianity just because he's Christian? I see many Christians try to distance themselves from his rhetoric.

My personal opinion of Phelps is irrelevant. Even though I may dislike the dogma he preaches, I cannot say whether or not he should represent Christianity. I am not a Christian. In the same way, I cannot say who represents transgender people as I am not transgender.

I'm only pointing out the hypocrisy that I see from these people when they say they don't think she can represent transgender people because she does not fit their ideal model. Their entire fight is based on acceptance and equality for a lifestyle that doesn't fit the "normal" model.

I'm glad you clarified it, it's not about insane people, just crazy people. I'm tracking now! Community is not a "hive"... hmmm? You have a very loose definition of "community", with a very "progressive" agenda.

I couldn't resists, hearing/reading of these things is paramount to "religion" We all know the truth but pretend to belief in a lie. If and when all the biological characteristics that define a male has been reversed/eradicated, then and only then should we refer to an individual to the the opposite sex.

Anything else is exercising in deception and blind faith...

I take it you never heard of Hermaphodites? OR males born with vaginas or vice versa right? Its actually fairly common to have babies born with confusing genitals(notice i said genitals and not gender which is mentally determined btw) And the Great lie of the perfect healthy baby boy or girl is perpetuated.

Alot of these people getting changed later on were mistakingly re assigned by doctors to the opposite sex to avoid lawsuits from parents id wager.

Sounds like Caitlyn Jenner is finding herself between a rock and a hard place. She doesn't feel comfortable being male yet the transgender community isn't very accepting. Rich people can never relate to the average struggling person on the street. They have a point just like every other hard working person.

It's kind of like expecting Donald Trump being able to relate to the average Joe.

What I have to say is: DON'T BE STUPID!!!!!!!

Yeah, sure - - she is not the best representative - - - but so what!

She is reaching millions of people and helping them understand what transgender is.

She is helping millions of people accept those who don't have the voice and platform.

That's what I think, too. She IS the best representative of a famous person in the spotlight, who fought with her gender her whole life and finally, at 65 (or whatever), came out to the world as who she truly is. She NEVER claimed to be a typical transgender woman. She never claimed to have a perfect personality, either. She is flawed.

I do think the way the law is treating her is unfair. If I had caused that accident, I would have had to face consequences, but that's not her fault. That's the system. But the same goes for ANYONE who's famous.

Annee, I'm asking people "so what?" so much these days. People get bent out of shape over such insignificant things. I don't get it... Why all the hatred and judgment of this woman? Of just about everyone? I'm lost... I don't know what to think about it.

no... its a HE. like the above post described.

if Jenner becomes ill and needs a transplant, or a treatment of which there is specifically a male and female procedures,

which do you think Jenner will choose.

Ambiguity will vanish pretty quick i think.

That being said, as an "outsider" I find it hypocritical for people to say that Jenner is an insult to the community and in no way represents them because she does not fit the archetype they believe a transgender person should be, when the entire point of the transgender message is that they deserve respect and acceptance even though they live a lifestyle that is outside of the "normal" human archetype.

Hypocritical and self-defeating?

Hear! Hear! Very well-said! The problem is with those who are expecting her to be something she isn't.

And again. Great points! To be fair, Bruce Jenner was a famous Olympic Athlete. Hes fame happened before Kardashians. He was famous in his own right and I don't think everyone knows that. I just don't agree with the "barfy reasons" thing...

I think that's a fair point. Transitioning from a male Olympian to where she is today is an impressive journey. I am not sure how lucrative that past would play out today, if not for the Kardashian-thing, but it is very possible that Caitlyn would be wealthy with or without that factor.

Caitlyn's success is well-earned, even if the wealth she enjoys today was influenced by the Kardashian connection.
