The Jersey Devil is an old legend that has never reached the credulity meter of Big Foot nor the grey aliens…


It’s about at the level in terms of credulity to the Mothman in W. Virginia


I’m surprised the Ancient Aliens haven’t claimed it yet


In reality though the only Jersey Devil that is real is in the governors mansion

I can't be 100% sure, but I'd swear that looks like something from a movie on the topic I once saw. Even if not, it's conveniently under a tree limb, so likely faked. I love the stories for this one, but I have a hard time believing a pic that good. No blur, even, for the wings, which would have to be moving?

Seems like someone finally got a picture of the "OverLords" from "childhoods end" by Arthur C. Clarke.

It's going to be a mini series in Dec on syfy, if you have read the book, you know what I mean.

I don't know if the pic is valid or not, but in my experience, it seems like with these monster things it's more "pics and it DIDN'T happen". Who in the world would be in the right frame of mind to take a picture after seeing something that messed up?

Unless it was a trail cam--then I think it could be valid.

Cool thread nonetheless--the Jersey Devil has always interested me.

Just a small point re the picture, the guy who took it says its just before it unfolded its leathery wings and flew off, in that case how did it get so high in the air with out wings...Fart power?

My guess is a couple of drunk guys catapulted a goat into the air and took a picture.
