I had to laugh after reading this! It brings to mind some memories, and also a comment my sister and I share, which is, "You can't win a food war
with a toddler." Meaning, you simply cannot force them to eat something they don't like, or convince them that their favorite food can't be served as
often as they want it.
Kids just get it into their heads, at certain ages, that they only want certain foods. With my little brother, his obsession was with chicken noodle
soup, to the point that we called him "the Noodler" for a while. One of mine wanted hot dogs and pizza. Another, it was cheeseburgers. Another
wanted ramen, all the time. The youngest actually was all crazy for fruits and vegetables. She wanted those before desserts, even. No matter what
it was, they had to have it. Funny thing; they all liked chicken nuggets! We tended to buy them at the store, but they all ate them.
