Maybe wiki is wrong on who That land belongs to under 242? According to it Israel is to return it in exchange for recognition a s a proper nation. ANd the PLO did try to overthrow the Jordanian government. you can look it up. They are Traitors who jordan does not claim as punishment.

You are implying that the land was empty and that is just a flat out lie. There are Palestinians that can trace their linage back for centuries back far beyond 1850.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 43/176 in which the General Assembly called for the convening of an International Peace Conference on the Middle East, under the auspices of the United Nations.

The resolution was adopted with 138 votes in favor and 2 abstentions.

Israel and the United States were the only states that voted against the resolution.

Key elements of the resolution:

1- withdrawal of Israel from the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, and from the other occupied Arab territories (that is the Golan Heights);

2-security of all States in the region, including those named in resolution 181 (that is Israel and Palestine), within secure and internationally recognized boundaries

3- execution of Resolution 194;

4- dismantling the Israeli settlements

5- free access to Holy Places

It's imperative to apply this resolutions.

Umm 242 ALREADY COVERED THIS and UPDATED it. Earlier resolutions do not supercede newer ones. IF th e number of that resolution is correct. They arent tresspassing UNTIL the land is given back they gained after 67 and then they dont leave after giving it back.

It s only ILLEGAL when they DO NOT LEAVE AFTER THE RECOGNIZING OF ISRAEL SHELDON. The resolutions specific. The arabs HAVE TO RECOGNIZE IT AS A COUNTRY WITH A RIGHT TO EXIST.

When they Do that and THEN IF THEY DO NOT LEAVE THE CURRENTLY CONTROLLED AREAS THEN ITS OCCUPATION.

SO until that happens they are not Occupiers.

You make it seem as if Israelis are being attacked on their own land, but many of these attacks are taking place in Occupied East Jerusalem & West Bank so in fact the "Israeli" victims are in fact trespassers, so are the police and military.

Since the land rightfully belongs to the Palestinians, all of it, that is the truth everywhere in Isreal.

the JNF and many jews bought tens of thousands of acres of swamp and desert land from the Ottoman empire and local landlords in the 1800s. the Arabs gladly sold it as they thought it was useless.
