Well I saw the gi specialist yesterday at ku med and they are referring me to the urologist specialist as they don't think it is gi related after reviewing all my test, something I have been saying since my gi xray and also what the gi doctor said. Here is hoping for a speedy find by the new doctor as the medical bills are really starting to pile up..lol

going to bring this back from the dead as i never got around to updating it..... life...

after going back and forth from DR to DR they finally sent me to a surgon who basically gave me the option of removing my appendix and seeing if that helped or going on meds and dealing with the pain until it went away, forever or until i lost my damn mind and killed myself. I opted for the surgery, he told me he was going to look around in the general area while removing the appendix to see if he could see the cause of the pain.

The day of the surgery came and he opened me up and peaked around said everything looked healthy and correct, he took out the appendix and said it looked and felt fine but sent it in for labs to be sure. When the labs came back he was shocked to find that it was inflamed and in a rare form of appendicitis that he had not seen before. he said he was glad that we took it out when we did as it could have eventually went necrotic and killed me.

since having it removed i feel 100% better and have been enjoying life, shortly after my surgery my wife and i found out we were going to be having a baby boy, he has came and is awesome.

Life is the damned weirdest thing sometimes.

Perhaps it's gallstones?

Nah had the gallbladder removed along time ago, turned out to be a rare form of appendicitis.

I remember this thread! I'm glad you came back with an update. It's helpful to others sometimes too, to follow something to it's conclusion. I'm so glad you are okay, and that your doctor decided to do the surgery.

Thank you, I agree I generally try not to leave my threads open ended if and when I come to a solution or end result. In very pleased that after the surgery I feel so much better, I just wish we could have jumped the nine billion steps in between. Even with good insurance that stuff for expensive....lol
