How is Rush Limbaugh still alive?


He looks like he's never left his chair.

Thankfully ppl dont gobble up his crap like they did during Slick Willies day.

You all are doing exactly what Rush wants you to do. You are talking about him. I remember seeing a video years ago with Mr. Limbaugh stating that it is up to the listener to determine if he (Rush) believes what he is saying. He basically stated that he did not necessarily buy into everything he said, but he did so to garner more listeners. Rush is nothing more than an actor, a persona not unlike Colbert. The truly sad part in all of this is the number of people who treat him like the ultimate authority. It is easy to lead an unquestioning mind.

I had to endure Rush a few times this year.
He is not a conservative. That is an insult to honest conservatives. He is a hate-filled speed freak.

A conservative wants to conserve something - preferably values.
There is nothing to conserve there. All he talks is hatred and bigotry.

Having listened to Rush for many years, he often illustrates a point using the extreme in a humorous way. I think he is saying that the left could use any issue to forward whatever agenda is important to them at the time.

While you are correct, the funny thing about this is that both sides will use anything they can find to further their agenda, whether its Conservatives or Liberals. Rush is just so far right he thinks moderates are extreme and doesn't even notice when his side uses the same tactics for any religious / immigration / gun control issue.
