Do you think you have the right to "call BS" on someone's experiences just because you haven't experienced it? Clearly you haven't read any of the other posts I have posted.

I have nothing but good memories of warm and welcoming people throughout the East with the exception of constant sexual harrassment and a number of assaults from local men, which I was warned about and expected. But I can't say the same about living in Bradford and am very happy I managed to get out. The place is a cess pool and not just because of immigrants I might add but generally, but the 2nd generation teenagers who now run the various areas are the ones I worry about.

There most certainly is Sharia law!!! It has been in force for some time in various communities and its extremely naive to say there isn't. Just because its not used widely and publicly doesn't mean it isn't used as an alternative means to enforcing their own laws.

I would respectfully suggest that you read ALL my posts to see exactly where I am coming from to make an informed opinion on my character...or as informed as one can get from words on a screen but hey some people think thats enough

Oh and how very gracious of you to cut me some slack as a new member as if that makes my opinions less valid....I've been a member for a number of years just new pc forced new registration

The only reason so many able bodied men showed up on Germanys door step was it was easier to make the trip without the wives and kids in tow, they let in hundreds of thousands of them? Wait until they get settled in and bring their families over, you can times that number by five. Within a couple of years your going to have places in Germany where you just don't go into those areas. Seems harsh, but I would slam the door shut on more immigration and start sending them back to where they came from. Too bad what the rest of the world thinks, it's only going to get worse. I doubt they have any intention of assimilating into German culture.

ATS is always a little surreal. But reading such nonsense again and again is a little boring with the time.
Germany here and we can still go outside without any fear. S* happens here, too, of course. But we are neither under siege nor are we raped by the dozens.
The problems we have with so many people coming in at once are no small problems. But we are far away from doomsday.

Let's just say that most of the Syrians won't be a problem, the majority wants to get back to Syria when the war ended. Most stories from friends of mine, who do volunteer work in refugee shelters around NRW are, that the syrians are the most humble and grateful people anyone did meet. They don't feel entitled to anything, most of them are traumatized by war and the journey and they help in the camps where they can (like being translators, helping the volunteers etc.).

For the rest that came with them, time will tell. Some we will have to watch closely but most will leave within one year because their asylum won't be granted and they get deported back. I'm pretty sure deportation rules will change rather quickly in the next 3-4 month

I think the Syrians want to go home too. They are in 'survival mode' right now. The only solution to this crisis is for the world to focus entirely on Syria, try to put humpty dumpty back together again, so they can return home.

I want to thank you for your post. It's the most rational thing I've read in weeks. Each group has it's story, and everybody knows the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. You managed to highlight the middle.

I knew when I started this thread that there would be people who would attack and deny tooth and nail and the reasons they would cite for doing so. I was nearly 100% correct in my beliefs as to what would be said and by whom. There were a few surprises, to be sure. But the hard core deniers entered stage left on que and didn't miss a beat.

I have read the entire thread. I see a lot of people denying the possibility the thread or what it suggests is true because the source has fabricated or exaggerated things in the past and allegedly has an agenda. I challenge you to show me ONE media outlet that has not done the same at least once. (please don't insult the intelligence of the people participating in this conversation by falling back on, 'they only did it a few times, the DM does it all the time' - claims you cant prove)

There is one other aspect of this string of automatic denials that is truly disturbing and indicative of the real obstacles we face not only as individuals but as nation. (I have a new thread starting today addressing that) These deniers claim to know the article is fake because the source is, in their opinion, incapable of telling the truth. However, throughout these pages there are numerous people living through this very invasion describing real life events they are experiencing that support the claims in the DM article. These statements of first hand observation and experience were made before, during, and after various portions of the denials. The will to deny is so strong with some people that even first hand experience is not convincing enough.

There are no official statistics, but aid organizations, social workers and volunteers note that ethnic, social, cultural and religious tensions are on the rise in Germany's overcrowded refugee shelters.

Tempers flare easily at close quarters. In Leipzig last week, about 200 refugees wielding table legs and bed frames started a fight after they couldn't agree who got to use one of the few toilets first. It took a large police contingent to calm the situation. Islam is a part of Germany, but Islamism clearly isn't, said opposition Greens party leader Cem Özdemir, adding that tolerance must not be misinterpreted and exploited as weakness. But insults, threats, discrimination and blackmail against Christian asylum-seekers in particular are a regular occurrence, according to the Munich-based Central Council for Oriental Christians (ZOCD).

"I've heard so many reports from Christian refugees who were attacked by conservative Muslims," said Simon Jacob, of the Central Council for Oriental Christians (ZOCD).

But that's only the tip of the iceberg, the ZOCD board member told DW: "The number of unreported cases is much higher."

Refugees don't leave their conflicts behind

The refugees bring with them a long and well documented history of violence. Thrusting them into close quarters in a society that does not prescribe to their belief system is a disaster waiting to happen. Add to that the dire circumstances and shocking fear many of the refugees feel and you turn an already violent society into a rabid pack of people who react to everything like wild animals caught in a trap - attack. Even people trying to help them are being attacked. And the aid workers themselves have indicated that the real numbers of incidents are not being reported.

What will it take to get people on the same page? The only way a problem will be resolved is by first identifying the problem and agreeing that is exists. Denial has never been, nor shall it ever be, a method of resolution.

You call this BS propaganda but there are many posts in this thread from people experiencing it first hand. And there are posts from people who have not experienced it. That is to be expected. Why do you only believe the ones who say it didn't happen and not the ones who say it did? I could accuse you of hating people who fail to uphold your unrealistically high expectations of humanity. To dream of a time when we all get along is great. But to deny the atrocities being committed today while dreaming of a better tomorrow is sick. There will never be a better tomorrow if we do not address the crimes being committed today.

You have german members of ATS who are in the middle of the so called "siege" denying everything your OP claims. You cant solve a problem by providing false information to begin with. Sure there are some fringe elements among those refugees,but i bet that in agroup of 100,000 brits or americans you would find few rapists,peadophiles,criminals etc.aswell.
