I don't see eliminating private central banks anywhere.

Until they eliminate the current debt based system that has enslaved the world, there will never be enough money to fund any of these projects.

It's quite the read, I had to stop for the night myself, parts of it were making me feel nauseous. A lot of it is wonderful utopian ideals. It's really heard to argue with the idea of wanting to eradicate poverty, however the language is rather all encompassing. People aren't going to have much option if their local and national governments comply. I'm very curious to see how exactly they plan on implementing such lofty goals for the world in the next 15 years.

Don't blame the UN it's nation states who look after their own self interests that's the problem living in an unsustainable way that's totally out of kilter with nature. We only have finite resources where countries will scrap it out develop weapons of mass destruction to defend and get hold of those finite resources that's the problem, not the UN which couldn't plan a piss up in a brewery . It's our fault yet we don't want to rake responsibility just pass the buck or blame someone else. Like we always do let's blame the UN for all the pollution and environmental damage we do. We need more stuff and canned tuna and regular supplies of fish and fast food restorants and rare woods and don't forget oil we want lots of it, all of it. I worked on Agenda 2030 since 2012, including at the UN, especially Goal 14, which covers economic, social, and environmental issues pertaining to the oceans and seas. Hey.

Well, this is the biggest challenge now, implementation. The goals and targets are very ambitious, so this will be a challenge. I think that nationally is where we will see the most balking, if and when national governments including our own don't want to do x,y, and z. However, the goals are also aspirational and countries retain their sovereignty.

The 2030 Agenda explicitly states that nations have the right to decide what to prioritize based on their own realities.

Because the goals were negotiated with representatives from all nations and major organizations, it would be difficult for one nation or a couple of them to derail it.

What is more likely is that some nations simply won't do what is necessary and hence not meet national level targets.

I agree. And, if people actually read the 17 goals that are the 2030 agenda, they address all of this: pollution, sustainable consumption and production, ecosystems, biodiversity, etc. Check my other post on here for the link to the list.

Yet most of these conspiracy folks will then say that it's all an evil conspiracy when the UN or international community actually agree to do something about it, i.e. AGENDA 2030!

Well........what a difference a few hours make. Yesterday, I'd have stated that your fears are way over blown. But after watching the confluence of the "Global Citizen Festival" and the UN Agenda 30 meetings, I'm beginning to get concerned. And realistically, what the Global Citizen initiative tells me is that its probably too late to be concerned.

The whole Global Citizen thing, on the surface, looks banal enough. Its the usual "give a buck for the kid in Sudan" thing we've seen for years on TV. (Few give because they know that none of the money ever makes it to Sudan; it ends up in the promoters Swiss bank accounts). But.....if you examine the Global Citizen thing more closely, what you come to realize is that in the last 20 years or so, the Universities have been brainwashing the youth into accepting and adopting this "attitude" that they are global citizens, responsible somehow, for the welfare of the kid in Sudan. There's an enormous "creep" factor here and that has to do with the fact that whereas it used to be the case that schools/colleges, etc. had as part of their mission, to imbue in the students a sense of owed civic duty to their Nation state. No more.......now they're being propagandized to believe they've got a "civic duty" to the whole world, not their home, nation state.

But wait....it gets worse! So in the implementation of its goals, the Global Citizen agenda includes promoting support for none other than the UN and its "Sustainable Development Goals", SDG's. So.....what we are seeing here is that on the one hand, we have the UN pushing its usual "save the kid in Sudan" type agenda, and on the other hand "Global Citizen" bunch whipping up popular support amongst the brain washed youth for the UN! So, what we're seeing here is the UN trying to trump the interests of national sovereignty and the Global Citizen group acting as Dr. Goebbels propaganda machine holding Nuremberg type rallies to whip up support for the UN takeover.

The horror of all this of course is that the youthful numskulls dancing and cheering at the Global Citizen rally don't know or realize that they didn't vote for any of the greedy, anti-western, power grabbing Bureaucrats of the UN. Worse, they don't get the fact (or don't care) that if the US "Courts" begin to apply International law against US citizens, those citizens will begin to lose the rights guaranteed to them in the Constitution.

So....now I see and finally understand how the NWO "One World Government" comes to be. There will of course be delays and derailments of the agenda, so the good news is that we're probably safe for the next 10 to 20 years.
