As far as I know, it has NEVER been illegal to buy a wedding cake. In some states (hopefully all states soon), it IS illegal to discriminate against someone for being gay. Everyone is free to practice their religion until it takes away the right of someone else.

Buisnesses MAY DENY ,PERIOD.
If some activist wants to pick a fight TOO BAD.
A gay business can do it as well the sign states "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" that is their sheild against activists who seek a fight

The Christian store SHOULD do it however as THAT is what the Bible states they should do.
WE ARE supposed to lead by example NOT lord over all,it's quite counterproductive and alienates people.
Otherwise they might as well be hunting witch covens to stone.

No, in the U.S., businesses may NOT deny service based on race, religion, or (in some states) sexual orientation. That's the law.

Do YOU think an identified radical or an obvious MS13 gang member can walk into a GUN STORE and buy a gun if the owner KNOWS what they are ,simply on the basis of inclusive doctrine?

By law, as it should be, that is not how it works.

It would create a slippery slope. Do you honestly think discrimination by belief would be limited to Christians and gays?

No one is stopping anyone from believing what they want. But, using that belief to discriminate is illegal. (depending on state)

Right now there's a gun shop in Florida under investigation by the DOJ for refusing to sell guns to Muslims. What does a Muslim look like?

Before the disability act my disabled mom was stopped at the door of many businesses. They wouldn't even let her go in. We were kicked out of restaurants because it made other customers uncomfortable.

Discrimination has no limits.

AS the Gay couple WAS a known factor, I used a comparator.
BUT if a person walks up to a gun dealer with GANG tats talking street they get pitched ,black,hispanic,what ever ,if they don't FEEL right to MOST gun dealers BYE ,BYE.
I've seen a skin heads get thrown out of gun shows before as well.

You can't force someone not to murder another person either. But they will pay the price of prison or the death penalty if they do.

Any business that refuses service based on nothing but race or religion or sexual orientation will pay the price of fines/jail/ or their business being shut down.

I am a gun owner. I've also been a business owner.

I can tell you, from personal experience, appearance is not a good judge of character. We had more problems from the well dressed, clean cut "declared" Christians who felt they were entitled, then we did from some of the more "riff raff" appearing customers who seemed to appreciate that we treated them with respect.

I don't know what the laws are (by state) on who I can sell a gun to. But, if they pass a background check ---- I am not their judge.

I have NO idea what ownership would have to do with gun sales or ANY other business either.
Gun dealers are a fickle lot to be sure I don't know how they do it in urban cesspools of cities but in Texas and colorado THAT is how I HAVE seen it done.
