I'm an atheist. I personally think belief is holding us back. As someone who has studied psychology, I'm not sure religion is a healthy exercise. However, I'm not sure if our species can help it.

I much prefer the concepts of love, understanding, and forgiveness to intolerance, oppression, and isolation. I understand that religious doctrine is up for interpretation. This means that we will be who we want to be, or who we are molded to be, despite our rule books. I hope those who seek comfort in an afterlife have the most positive take on their religions.

There are obviously groups among all major religions who are taking a more self righteous view of their instruction manuals. There are also atheists claiming to be religious for the power it affords. I can only hope that the caring among us don't allow these people to deceive us. It's hard to remain skeptical of the world when we just want to help it. We cannot make the assumption that people who appear kind are genuine. I think this type of deception is what Christians call Antichristian. We also cannot assume that people who appear mean are not simply hurting. We then may appear as Antichristian/anti-peace to them.

The practitioners of major religions ironically have histories, some recorded in scripture, of aggression and inequality. After all, religion boils down to the way people, mostly males, think life should be. We're only animals, so our behavior and practices reflect this.

It's good to be skeptical of people based on their behaviors and practices. As an atheist, I'm probably more skeptical of of more people, as I don't don't really have a club. I have certainly made the error more than once of trusting people whom I should not have due to my choice to see goodness. I saw what I wanted to see. I hope we don't make that mistake and that we see things for how they really are.

We are animals with the capacity to both care and control. We cannot simply judge people based on who they claim to be. Despite what is displayed outwardly, inner thoughts can tell a different story. We are prone to deception and mood swings. Despite the paranoia of being monitored, we really do need to keep each other in check. Let's be vigilant.

Well, that's it folks. Time to throwing the towel and give up. The world's practically over and we're all basically in our graves as we speak. This is all because of Obama and the antichrist. They are in cohesion with each other and now they have succeeded.

See you all in hell.

The world, and the people in it are beginning to feel life, without God. You said: "There is no God!" You screamed: "We don't need you." Remember?

Funny thing is? The world, and the people in it are still looking for a "savior". It doesn't matter if that savior comes in human form or by nature. You want someone/something to get you out of the mess you've created. You pray for an asteroid strike, a great earthquake, a nuclear war, a new President, whatever. Anything to start things over, and get back to the way things "used to be". Meanwhile, men are sleeping with men; and women are lining up to abort an unwanted child.

Oh wait, the topic was about "the Anti-Christ Movement..."?

Oops, my bad. jajajajajaja

[/endsarcasm]

And dear "Christians", God will have no mercy on you, either! I'm really not sure why you believe you will be spared? You're much to blame for the condition of our world. You were supposed to be the light and instead, you played in the dark.

Everyone will sit here and say: "If God loves us so much, then why would He........"

My answer to that will be: "how many times do you let your child act a fool, and get away with it? How many times can your child 'break your rules' before you lay the smack down on that butt? How many times will you allow your child to say F.U. and spit in your face?

Well now you know where humanity stands with God.

I would agree the events unfolding in the world today and the middle east and the global economy which is on a pathway to total destruction is paving the way for the Anti-christ.
Next up will be Catholic church pretending like the bible never says a word about homosexuailty being a sin. While it is good to love homosexuals it is also good to show them bible versus.

That notion was very prevalent in yesterdays message at church. (Not religous, still follow Christ) We were supposed to be proactive, be interested in politics, find positions of influence. We've been slacking, misrepresenting.

Now we're in the midst of a loooong uphill battle which we are currently loosing at an exponential rate.

-Matthew 7:6- We're casting pearls at swine just so they can be trampled. Now we may be torn to peices. Should have tried a new method long ago.

There is a lot of disinformation being promoted at the moment about the Blood Moon Tetrad, the final of which occurs next week with the Jewish "Feast of Tabernacles".
This was first published in a book by Pastor John Hagee, who claimed that blood red moons have occurred during every major event in Jewish history. This, or course, is wishful thinking.
Apparently, a lot of people have been misled into thinking that after this next Blood Moon, the Rapture will occur, which is another false doctrine supporting "dispensationalism" the idea that the Jewish nation has a separate destiny. But that of course, is another can of worms.

One theory is that the political elements will band together to attack all religion in order to secure world peace. In order to get the Islamic nations to go along they agree only Christianity will be attacked and eliminated, so this happens. What they don't know is that they are next, TPTB planned it out that way all along. Hit list is Christianity, Judaism, Islam and all other religions. They go last, so they support the first two attacks, by then it is too late to stop it, and the others already smarting from their defeat will support it 100%.

The Anti-Christ action is part of a bigger plot line.

It depends on what bible verses you show them. There are a lot which are open to very fluid interpretations, and conservative dogma has taken away from their real meaning and context.
A good example is the nasty little tale of Lot's escape from Sodam and Gomorrah. This is commonly used by the bible bashing fundies to denounce homosexuals. What they do not realise, is that the story is not an object lesson in homosexuality, but a story legitimising incest. The story goes as follows. Lot is visited by two male "angels". The depraved rape gangs come to his door jeering to him that they want to rape the "angels". Lot - who was a highly favoured "man of God", responds my telling them that they cannot rape his divine guests, but they are welcome to sexually abuse his two young daughters.
After the Angels save Lot from the city, which dues to God's wrath was to be destroyed, his wife was told not to look back. Of course, she did and was turned into a pillar or salt. Now with no woman for sex, Lot was very worried about preserving his bloodline through his daughters, so he got very drunk and had intercourse with them, making them both pregnant.

Not a nice tale is is? But you only ever get bombarded with the story about Sodam's destruction being due to homosexuality, which is not supported by other biblical verses which say that Sodam's sin was inhospitality to strangers. Certainly, Lot's angelic visitors were not treated nicely by the rape gangs, even when he offered them his daughters as "fresh meat."

When people condemn gay folk by using this story, they are not considering love. That two people can love, respect and make a commitment to each other regardless of gender. These people ignore the much worse implications of this story, that God favoured a man who was an incestuous paedophile and condemned both his wife and daughters.

I see a concerted and organized attempt at demonizing Islam at every opportunity. A propaganda effort by many to set the stage for a new War and expanded invasion of the middle east. Create fear and hate so that the impressionable youth will join the military to fight and die for a false ideal, to enrich those that profit from death and blood.

A continuation of the Crusades...In Hoc Signo Vinces?

I hold as evidence the current presidential campaign where the Conservative Right is using fear of Islam as a talking point to try and win favor with the electorate.

God help us....

Yes, they use his name to throw at Christians once in a while when it suits them, but otherwise he's never mentioned.

It will be easy to unite Islam and Judaism if they return to the practices of the Levite priesthood. I can see this is already being put into motion by front organisations such as Tony Blair's interfaith council. This is why the Dome of the Rock and the New Temple at Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be able to coexist. Becuse they both practice the same rituals and worship the same "God".

Eff your bloodline Lot! Let it end with you. Was obviously meant to be so. Big deal. The alternative presented, well no word adequetly describes the depravity. I don't like that story. That's OT? Right. Not sure if I believe it either.

Also, eff alcohol

Fury after Saudi Arabia 'chosen to head key UN human rights panel'

The United Nations has been criticised for handing Saudi Arabia a key human rights role - despite the country having “arguably the worst record in the world” on freedoms for women, minorities and dissidents.

I honestly don't see how any of this has any thing to do with the "Anti-Christ". No one takes the UN seriously except the unseen elites that are part of the NGO's that suck money out of the UN and get to jet set around the world going to useless conferences. They could appoint Gadaffi to this position and it wouldn't mattter and he's dead!

The Abrahamic religions are Bloodline Cults. This also explains the Caliphate and the Christian Fundamentalist and Whie Supremecist "Quiverfull cult" - in recent news because of the Duggar scandal.

Weird, seems materialistic to me. Kind of psychotic. I Figure we still have souls, independent from the physical blood.

I'm not new age, I'm not religous, yet still love Jesus, because I love spirituality and he has been the most real for me.

The rest, there are so many strange contradictions, and confusing rabbit holes to get lost in. These days I prefer to remain in blissful ignorance and just focus on being a kick a$$ person.
