Justly curios, how many years back do we have accurate temperature readings? How old is the earth? What's that come out to percentage wise?

Polution isn't good but basing our temperature claims on what fraction of a percent we have compared to the whole is simply nuts. At least we're told it's not right to take a small percentage of any whole and jump to conclusions about the whole.

Heck I would like to see an agreed upon name for the problem before trying to solve it.

The problem with that is all the global warming crowd has achieved thus far is to create carbon credit scams that out sources pollution to other countries.

That still use them evil fossil fuels to ship goods back over here, and shipped back here because the global warming crowd has killed off jobs.

What's more they have also almost completely killed off an entire energy sector (coal) thus driving up energy costs.

That same group of people with that global warming push with their 'biofuels' bull crap have now made products like gasoline that won't even last a week 'off the shelf'.

They aren't asking for people to be locked up just because they deny global warming is because of man made emissions. They are asking for investigations of whether or not there have been RICO violations. Big Tobacco violated RICO, remember?

Yeah smart guy except he's not my idol. Next time know who it is your talking to.

I'm also not saying throw people in jail for lying either. But I do think in some situations that false reporting should be a crime.

The fact that we just let anyone deceive the populace without any recourse is pretty stupid. People can and do get killed because of false reporting and lying and they should be held accountable.

I'm not talking about mistakes. I'm not even talking about in general.

But there are situations where lying and false reporting get's people killed, causes serious problems costing massive amounts of money, etc.

It's not a perfect globe either. But in either case it has been science that has figured these things out.

Prosecuting Global Warming Skeptics would only PROVE that global warming was a scam.

You would have scientists forced to testify in court and a real debate in front of a judge and in court records and if they were found later to be based on fake data the scientists could find themselves in court for perjury.

And the first amendment allows for that too..

This scenario is the same one that was stated during Sandy Hook. And many other happenings since the Obama administration. The state police in Connecticut warned people not to disagree with what they said or they would be investigated, and that is the same as prosecuted. They didn't care that it has another name. It's malicious prosecution.

Last I checked everyone agreed there are major changes happening. The only question was whether or not humans had anything to do with it. So if that is the case, even if we assume we had nothing to do with it, which is highly unlikely, we still need to do something to try and minimize the negative outcome. So I don't get what all the fuss is about.
