Scientists Ask Obama To Prosecute Global Warming Skeptics.

Oh damn! Now us 'flat earthers' gone and done it. Apparently some 'scientists', and I do use that term loosely want us poor little ole 'flat earthers' locked up. Why yes people the science is settled. So settled it can't stand any criticism what so ever, and to preserve the science the state needs to get involved, and use it's bold face authoritarianism using RICO laws to prosecute them 'flat earthers' !

Why people I remember way back when when the scientists said the earth was flat. That science was settled. Then not too long after that they said everything revolved around the earth. That science was settled too. The ironic part here is anyone who disagree with that settled science was ostracized, or locked up.

The science on global warming is settled, so settled that 20 climate scientists are asking President Barack Obama to prosecute people who disagree with them on the science behind man-made global warming.

Never let a good crisis go to waste

It is by no means a leap here to think laws, and penalties are not coming down the pike for people that disagree with the state. The topic is a prime example of it.

Really prosecuting people for disagreeing? Is this what the world has come too?

Apparently those twenty 'scientists' think people are just too dumb to make up their own minds.

Science is NEVER settled. It is always subject to change.

There's a difference between approaching a subject with scientific validity and questioning and approaching a subject with complete disdain for the theory and the inability to reason objectively.

Many people that are 'against' climate change do not approach it scientifically or in any sort of scholarly manner.

The science says the earth's climate has been changing for over 5 billion years. In a perpetual state of change. A constant state of motion, and LONG before mankind ever began walking up right, and Long before his industrialization.

It is a fact of life, and it has been that change that has been the leading cause of mankind's so called evolution.

Then comes along politics, and so called scientist's that have made billions off it pushing doom porn.

Then came along politician's using FEAR to push political agenda's.

Not seeing the 'science' part.

Spare me the persecution complex rhetoric please. I never said to lock anyone up, christian or skeptic. I'm just trying to keep the information factual. Science didn't say the world was flat or that everything revolved around it.

Climate change is a political issue.

An issue the state with it's current administration wholey supports.

Now I don't think political dissidents should be locked up, and the current potus should tell those scientists to get lost.

If you read the actual letter about this they are asking him to investigate the organizations and corporations who have created large campaigns about rejecting climate change. The same organizations that have ties to oil and energy companies who they feel are trying to deceive people against climate change for their own profit.

It's not targeting all climate deniers and is actually only asking to investigate them using the RICO act.

If there are organized groups who are actively lying to everyone, making up false reports and deceiving the public into continuing activities that could bring on the death of millions of people or even extinction do you not think that maybe an investigation is in order to see if that is what they are up to???

If some groups with mass amounts of money organized to lie to everyone claiming that toxic waste in their drinking water was healthy for them should they not be investigated???

This same approach was used against the tobacco companies when they were lying to people about the effects of smoking and they were found to be doing just that. This is the same approach.

What's wrong with looking into the deceptive practices that could possibly cause great harm to people??
