Haha yep, I reckon we would have done Scotland so my heart sank when it turned out we were facing S.Africa.
Ah well, at least I was in my home town rugby club in Wales watching it when we crashed out, shared misery and all that lol

Cheering for Australia in an English pub was a bit awkward I must admit, but you had to beat them for us to go through!
I may watch the final on the fanzone big screen in a public park at Exeter, one of the host cities.
Free entry, only an hour or so train ride away, excellent atmosphere and I'll hook up with the gold and green shirts I see there.
Only downside is the bars there are proper pricey so I'll be sneaking my hip flask in

Sounds nice, have a wonderful finals weekend.

Because of the time difference i will be watching the final at like 3 in the morning,anyway its like 6am here so i will be going to bed goodnight.

And you should definitely watch it in the park, it sounds like a good festive atmosphere and definitely better than an English pub.

Hahaha! I know! I've been loving the UK time schedule for this world cup, it's the other way round when the Southern hemisphere host it. Saying that Japan next time, I reckon I'll be missing some days at work for that one.

That said, I bid you good night, and good luck next weekend...I think you'll do the All Blacks.

You made me chuckle then because I identified with my own shout which is more a "Gaarrrn [insert team]" when watching rugby.
I have a hoarse voice every Saturday evening as my son plays tighthead prop for our town, so it's a match I'm always shouting at as you would imagine.

...I actually shout it with the same passion watching him now as an 18yr old as when he was playing for the under 7's lol

Nigel Owens has been congratulated by the Welsh Rugby Union after being confirmed as the referee for Saturday's Rugby World Cup final between Australia and New Zealand at Twickenham, the second Welshman to take charge of the showpiece event.

Let's hope he does a better job than Craig Joubert did for Scotland against Australia lol

Go The All Blacks.

When they (the All Blacks) are not playing I am a Wallabies supporter so tomorrow night is going to be huge. I'm heading down to a sports bar in Fremantle that's owned by a Kiwi and in 2011 when the last WC was on, it was absolutely packed with Kiwis and Aussies and they are starting to ramp up already and we have 36+ hours to go.

Can't wait.
