Well its that time again, the 2015 rugby world cup is mere hours away and i didn't see or find any threads on it so i decided to make one,
post all your comments predictions and thoughts.

Sadly i have a feeling new Zealand will win but who knows, lots of pressure on England as the host nation especially as they're in the so called pool of death.

All I can say is go the Wallabies!!!!!

a reply to: Ozsheeple . It's always an entertaining tournament I see New Zealand are over whelming favourites although as you say England could do well being at home. I was always a football man, but enjoy watching rugby ( egg chasing), especially at this level in a World Cup.
m.youtube.com... great advert for the tournament

The All Blacks are always favourites, but the Australians could win it.

England have home advantage, but I reckon they will do well to get to the semi finals.

I haven't seen England play in a while are they in good form ?

And yes i think everyone favours the All Blacks to much, yes they are good but not invincible.

England are shaping up nicely and I would say they are favourites of the Northern Hemisphere teams, although Wales and Ireland would probably disagree.

In the recent warm up games we have played France twice, won one, lost one and we have beaten Ireland.

Ireland could do well, Wales have a few injury problems, Scotland have been struggling over the past few years, but may have a good run, but more than likely won't.

Aside from the usual favourites, Wales and Ireland could certainly surprise us with an upset win,
as for Scoltland bit of a shame but you never know stranger things have happened

Indeed, it is a wonderful occasion to witness, first hand, the worlds most powerful and talented atheletes battle.

There will be blood.

I wonder if Australia has? Because they went missing in the final minute of the 2003 final. Beautiful set up play by the English forwards, in the ruck. Matt Dawson laying it off to Jonny Wilkinson and the rest is history.

That was a great World Cup, but my favourite tournament was probably England 1991. England managed to find themselves in the final against the Australians and in a tightly fought game, Australia were the victors.

Swing Low.........

Johnny Wilkinsons feat in the final seconds to snatch the cup is truly one of the greatest moments in Union history - I have goosebumps even writing this - I tell you, at the time, it seemed like divine providence manifested itself.

Anyway, the poms have no chance this year. Watch Ireland.

Ah 2003 most annoying defeat in rugby history.

Curse you wilkinson.

Oh and Australia thrashing Namibia 142-nil.

The US is in it however in the past the US has never made it past the pool stage.

although rugby isn't very big in the US so i wouldn't get your hopes up.

Aw heck - ok you guys are saying New Zealand is good? They'll do.
Such a beautiful country and I love the Maori culture and art so I'll root for them.
Or our cousins, the English!!
