Some are certainly worthy, but others? Not so much. While very deserving people are ignored.

It was a joke that he received it before he'd actually accomplished anything, and has since turned into a tragic farce.

On the basis that they gave Obama the Nobel peace prize—his rhetoric, they could have given one to Hitler who had great talking points about international peace before he started WWII.

I cringed with embarrassment for Obama when he accepted the Nobel Prize. How he had the neck to actually agree to accept such a highly prestigious accolade that he knows for certain in his own mind he hasn't earned and doesn't deserve, what a shameful fraud he is. What sort of person does that? How can anyone have any respect for him?

Obama is nowhere near Nobel quality, never will be. He knows he's a Nobel fraud and so does everyone else on the planet. Despite this, he very brazenly and publicly accepted the Prize. I was embarrassed for him.

I'd have had more respect had he humbly declined to accept, because it would have been the right thing to do.

Whoever's decision it was to award Obama with this wonderful and outstanding distinction must have been either persuaded with riches, threats, or deliberately spiked with 'let's act daft' serum.

no kidding, I am part Norwegian and I was proud to be until Resident Obama received the Peace Price. His name is not even Barack Obama its Barry Soetoro, he is a Muslim. I did not like Carter or Bill Clinton but at least they were Americans and I knew they would not try to Destroy America. Like Giuliani said "Obama was raised to hate America" buy his Communist parents.

He is the exact opposite of the person to give the peace prize to.

Its too late. Nobel prizes are crap now. They gave a politician one for the hell of it. That is forever.

No, but by running for President, and winning, he now owns it. Something he's never admitted to.

He's too busy blaming the previous administration, that had bipartisan support for the war. Some of that support was even BEFORE 9/11. BEFORE Bush was even elected. Before he even announced his candidacy. Politicians both left and right were keen on getting Saddam out of power for quite a while, since he was gaming the UN, and the Inspectors for so long.
