Thank you for clarifying your question, when you just ask "Why" that is a broad question. As far as what he SAYS there is nothing I like, as soon as he starts speaking I just stop listening. I don't like his demeanor, I have tried to listen to him in other interviews and it is the same thing. That is just for me personally.

There are other candidates that I don't care for either, but again for me personally this debate has cemented my dislike for Cruz.

To be honest I enjoyed the 2nd tier candidates much more than the supposed 1st tier. Too many people onstage. It's just a free for all. Whether you like him or not, Trump is leading in the polls so he deserves to be onstage. Christie, Kasich, Rubio, and Walker should not be there IMO. In fact there should be no more than 5 onstage. I've watched from the beginning and IMO it has been a hot mess with no winners. No one stood out to me because they can't with that large a group onstage.

The 2nd tier candidates surprised me. I actually liked Graham even though I can't stand his voice. He was funny and turned every question back to his chosen topic. I was surprised.

I dont give 2 shiz about Trumps entertainment factor, im worried about the future of my nation, not whats fun to watch

True, but Trump despite being a weasel does serve another purpose. His mouth usually opens before his brain gets to process the response. While that is not for making a good president it certainly is good for the debates which are tightly controlled.

In the end if its a GOP or DNC endorsed candidate than entertainment will be the only benefit the masses will see any ways. The real benefit seen by the GOP and DNC candidates have been going to the Oligopolies anyways.

I guess I have sadly lost hope in the masses waking up and look at the debates as pure entertainment without any expectations for things to change.

I like Paul because hes small gov, that includes reducing spending in ALL facets, including what we do over seas.........the man has a plan and is a constitutionalist.......I wish he had more time

I'm hearing a lot of "this is what I would have done..." over, and over, and over.

Let's hear what you will do.

Love the fake Air Force One in the background too. LOL

So because he SOUNDS like a Laywer, you dont actually listen to what he has to say.........

No offense, but thats half the problem in the world.........

No one actually listens to the message........

I dont like Sanders, but I still listen to what he has to say.......

I guess I just dont get that attitude

The first 30 minutes of this 'debate' probably reminded people why they don't normally watch CNN.

Could they have at least *tried* to talk about issues without goading people?

LOL, Where can I register for that class.

They really never talk about real issues anyways . They discuss the symptoms. The real issue that was not discussed in a serious manner is the big money being thrown at our politicians.

How can we expect our officials that are so dependent on money and re-elections campaigns to regulate without bia$.

I wan't to hear about their plan to minimize the threat of monetary influences in congress and our president. Instead we get the same symptoms rehashed like tonight: jobs, economy, religion, sexuality, immigration, etc

Which is ironic as Reagan would never get the Republican nomination today based on his policies, he's not far right enough for today's Republican party.

I'd like to think Trump will be done after this but I think it's still a horse race and anyone can win. Though, if anyone surges after this, it will likely be Fiorina.

Keep hoping for some late comer to change the game because there is not one candidate that I would want to cast a vote for at this point.

Side note Ben Carson just admitted to being a radical democrat prior to Reagan. Whaaaa? And Trump failed to answer the final question properly as pertains to Reagan but then he rarely answered a question directly all night.

People can SAY whatever they want, it is HOW they say it that I am interested in. You can pick up a lot more from the speaker by not just listening to the words but by how the speaker presents himself, and I don't like him because he is a lawyer
