This is real world events, not hypothetical imaginings. This is what happens when you take a bunch of people out of the middle ages who refuse to negotiate on their beliefs, no matter how primitive and violent they may be, and shove them in the middle of a society that does not prescribe to their belief or value system. They don't assimilate. They do the same thing they have done all throughout history. They try to conquer, dominate, and destroy anything that is different.

The ISIS operative claimed some 4,000 fighters were already waiting in Europe, intent on fulfilling ISIS's repeated threats to stage attacks around the globe. He said such attacks would be in retaliation for U.S.-led airstrikes against the group in Iraq and Syria.

“Just wait,” he told BuzzFeed earlier this year.

Hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing war in Syria have decided in recent months to make their way to Europe, where there is more economic opportunity than in Turkey -- more than a million Syrians have taken refuge in Turkey. Last week, a picture of Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi, whose body washed ashore on Turkey’s southern resort coast after drowning during a dangerous boat journey in an inflatable dinghy, raised awareness of the refugees' plight. The incident ignited international concern over the refugee crisis wrought by years of conflict in Syria. Serbian border police say that 90 percent of those arriving from Macedonia, some 3,000 a day, claim they are Syrian, although they have no documents to prove it. Mr Galinos said there were currently about 15,000 refugees and migrants on his island, of whom 7,000-8,000 were already registered and waiting to leave Lesbos for Athens but were unable to find ferry tickets due to fully booked ships.

The government has chartered two ferries to transport the migrants, but with thousands of new arrivals each day, they have not been enough.

they let them through Greece, Macedonia and onto Austria and Germany... look whats happening, they refuse food and water... wont be long before they start rampaging in Austria and Germany!

I think it would have been best to put them into those camps! You can flame me all you want but i think that would have been the best option. Maybe even put them on a train that they say will take them to the border of Austria and Germany but instead take them to the camps (If the aren't willing to go there on their own) , hold them there until they learn how to behave and once syria has been liberated from the scum rebels, queda and ISIS, they can go back home.

Spot on, you want to flee to another country. You better be grateful and humble about the help you get. You come making demands and starting stuff you may eventually get your butt kicked back out or worse. Attitude goes a long way when seeking help. Not just problem with these people but large sections of citizens in their own country.

That's actually a good idea. Doesn't China have handful of ghost cities scattered around waiting for people to habit them? Just give one of those to refugees and they could start a new life there.

One of the main contributing factors for the state of the mid-east is the fact that it was used as a stage to play out parts of the cold war. BOTH the Soviet Union AND the US have stuck their sticky fingers into that sandbox and caused mayhem for decades, if you place such blame on the west then you also need to demand Russia take half the responsibility here too or else you are guilty of hypocrisy.

If you go a little further back another major factor is when the Europeans (British and French actually) carved up territories and countries that didn't exist from the carcass of the Ottoman Empire, and forced people that don't get along or identify as kin to share the same country. This set the stage for a complete lack of stability (in the absence of authoritarian dictatorships) which, when combined with the anger from west/east meddling and the massive amount of arms left over from said meddling gives you the Mid East of today.

America could have put it's thumb up it's butt after the civil war and never touched the rest of the world, and the middle east would still be screwed up. Blaming America for the state of that region is like blaming the overflowing garbage can on the last person to put some trash on top. Yeah, they added to the problem, no you can't blame the huge trash heap on them.

Europe is lucky that America exists to absorb so much of the blame for the state of the modern world, their utter destruction during WWII gave them a lot of sympathy that seems to erase their long history of doing exactly what people hate America for. And because all their balls dropped off after WWII they get to sit back and act like they are goodie-two-shoes liberal utopia and blame America for all the ills of empire and colonialism after they all played that game and lost.

Fact is Europe doesn't have clean hands, they know it, that's why they are dealing with it. You're hatred of America is so obvious it bleeds into every subject you discuss, I have a deep and strong disgust for the American government and plenty of it's people, but I don't allow it to blind me to history.
