i cant read if you are for or against?

Sweden set up voluntary projects without the state, in 12 hours it hit 1,5 million dollars, not including donations. Trucks coming in and boats.

Not really that difficult to understand ...........

Youd also be wrong, you could try reading what I said instead of making the assumption though, just saying

Most of us do actually......infact recently there was over 5 million raised here in Texas to help get Syrian people out

Its funny being stereotyped by someone who is trying to promote being more humane to mankind....thats twice in less than a page you have done that

yet you dont know my ideals,

Actually I believe I am on topic, you were posting about sweden doing what they do to help people

Then went on to basically bash America

Then youve repeatedly insulted people on here I find it hypocritical

Well guess what, there are a lot of us here in America who are actually doing something about it

Thanks for the stereotypes again.....

I read that threat very early and woundered about that picture of a boy who lay in the water.

Understanding that the OP used a pic of a little child that died in the waters I must say, you are disgusting. You obviously deleted the pic meanwhile. But using it as propaganda for Sweden makes you look bad and Sweden look bad.

Sweden is the second after Germany which take refugees. So kudos to Sweden. But no kudos for this thread. It started with The death of a three year old child and this is simply bad.

No further comment from my side.

Let me ask you all a question. In your safe European countries what if there was a take over of a minority of violent people going around killing people that disagreed with them?
Would you 1. run away to a safe country? Or 2 would you stay and fight for your country and way of life?
If you answer yes to the first question then you don't even deserve a country to live in. And STOP bringing children into the equation because children have NO SAY in anything, they go where their parents take them.
WHY don't they stay and fight for their rights in their own country. They out number their enemies thousands to one.

Yep, and WHY are they protesting in Hungary, refusing to become documented in a safe country because Germany is their preferred safe EU nation.
They are no longer fleeing oppression and war, they are being picky about which safe nation they wish to settle in.

The images of that poor 3 year old were of course tragic, but allowing asylum seekers to choose their particular safe EU nation would not have saved him. The UK agreeing to take asylum seekers from any safe EU nation would not have saved him.
The parents chose to risk paying for the 10 mile crossing to Kos from Turkey which is a NATO member and not recognised as a war zone. They could have registered in Turkey received food etc and still be alive.

I support the UK providing massive financial/resource support to safe nations such as Turkey, Hungary, etc to provide shelter to these people, heck I'd pay another 1% in income tax.
As long as the people fleeing Syria are being choosy about which safe nation they claim asylum in then more children will die because the parents chose to take the risk.
Turkey and Hungary are safe nations. No need to try crossing the Med Sea in an overloaded inflatable dinghy to get registered as an asylum seeker.

No one seems to address the demographics of the "refugees" "immigrants". Yes there are crying, desperate women and children (good sympathy cause) but the vast majority and I mean the vast majority are men between the ages of 15 to 40 years old. Why don't the authorities collect them all up, train and arm them and send them back to fight for their own country. We will look after their women and children and send them back to their own countries when their men folk make it safe for them.
Or do you bleeding hearts think if we go and make their country safe for them that they will return to their own countries. No chance. As I've said before, when they have enough of their own people to alter the social and political landscape of your country it will be too late to anything about it. Then you live or die by their beck and call.

Lol at traveler/gypo types who leave a #ing mess every now and then in my area when they can get access to someones field or even sports field until they can be evicted through civil laws.

Such discussion is off-topic here though, this thread is more about people in a safe nation, after fleeing war/oppression, refusing to register there because they find another country more preferable for economic/language/other reasons.

Clashing with police in Hungary because they refuse to register in the safe EU country that Hungary is compared to Syria, yeah real desperate asylum seekers...not.
They just want better options, and they are willing to break laws to get it.
Cry me a river.

What side of the Mediterranean do you think Hungary is on? And more to the point do you really think they are making such a dangerous crossing because they want to???

The main reason they don't do this is because real life is not a Chuck Norris movie.
Still if you really think arming 15 year olds and sending them to a war zone is going to help stabilise the situation who am I to argue.
