That is a good point.
We, obviously I am the spokesmen for the entire left, should stop trying to out him and let the people that are for him make their own bed.

I can understand why people on the right are against him, but for the life of me I can't understand why people on the left speak out against him.

The left should quietly rejoice if Trump makes it through the primaries because it would guarantee that the left would win another election.

We're not against what he's currently doing, (which is to expose the true face of the Republican Party for all to see) what we are against is any notion that he'll ever get elected as POTUS.

I hope that explains it.

If you study the facts carefully, and get over the fact that all choices are of the 1% and illuminated into higher levels, and realize that though this may be true for Trump, however, he's not on their side - so to speak.
He's actually out to dismantle this cluster F### of a mess that we've created for ourselves over the years.

If what you postulate is true than he has NO CHANCE of being the selected one.

The left should save their energy for those who have a chance at being POTUS.

More like a warm, golden shower that the media will tell us is due to climate change.

I have expressed respect somewhat for Trump on some issues but ultimately I couldn’t support him for two reasons:

One, his absurd statement about “keeping the Iraqi oil”

And his idea of kicking woman and children out of the country

Two very antihuman ideas I would never support

"He's for America!" "He's for American jobs!"

That's why he outsources production of his crappy merchandise to China and Bangladesh. Yes, let's elect a guy who personally contributes to the loss of American jobs. Anyone who sincerely believes that Trump has real solutions to real problems is too far gone to be swayed with reasoned debate. He's yet to even sketch out the rough details of any of these alleged policy positions.

Wait. I have an idea.

I'm running for President in 2016.

ELECT ME. I'll do it folks. I'll bring back the jobs. I'll make America "great again." I'm fighting for each and every single one of you who want YOUR country BACK folks! I'll say anything. I'll tell off color jokes, I'll insult world leaders. I'll adopt an amusingly bad hairstyle. I'm a fiscal wizard — I win at Monopoly all the time! I'm an atheist but if elected, I'll be born again! Or not, whatever you want!

I heard you like border walls!

I say, "why stop there!?" That's for liberal pansies. I'll invade Mexico. That's right folks, I'll INVADE MEXICO. It's a win-win, we'll double the "defense" budget and then use that money to invade Mexico. Hell, why stop there? It's only a matter of time before MS-13 RAPES A SWATH OF WHITE WOMEN RIGHT THROUGH THE HEARTLAND. Why stop at "taking our country back?" Since we're in a country takin' mood, let's take over central AMERICA. It's not like Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, San Salvador and Costa Rica are REAL countries. Look at the map:

It's about time somebody stepped up and showed Putin what a REAL man looks like. Speaking of which, if you elect me, I'll put a saddle on a LIGER and I'll ride that liger EVERYWHERE. I'll ride it wearing shades. I'll ride it with no shirt on. Hell, I'll ride it with no PANTS on. When I dine with Foreign leaders, I'll make them sit at the kiddie table.. WHERE THEY BELONG.

Stay tuned for more vacuous campaign promises! My delusions know NO bounds!

Anti Trump threads? All I ever see are pro Trump threads.

I dunno why people think Trump is such a great choice for Prez. He doesn't have a plan, he just repeats catchy lines like he'll make America great again. Well that's all fine and dandy but what's the plan? So far I know he has plans, far fetched plans, to deal with illegal immigrants but when asked about foreign policy he can't articulate a proper sentence.

But he's got a big mouth and people are easily swayed by big mouths and that's why he's so popular, for now.

You have summed up my thoughts nicely. He is another plastic spoiled billionaire who can spew out low brow soundbites to appeal to the basest, most ignorant elements of society. Nothing he has said so far even resembles a coherent plant, and he only rides a few populist issues. Just a lot of hot air without any substance to back it up.

I am almost without words. Americans apparently believe ' The People ' actually have a choice !
You do not now, nor will you ever be a deciding factor in the course of your Country.
A government by and for the People makes for great theater. Reality paints quit a different outcome.
Four Presidents - Bush, Bush, Clinton and Obama. Has the plight of the average American improved ?
Four Presidents and America is buried in 18 Trillion dollars of debt and pursuing an eternal War on Global
Terrorism. Donald, Sanders or Mickey Mouse will not change any of this foolishness. Good luck if you believe
pushing a button in a voting booth will alter the downward spiral of a Nation once admired by all.

The main thing that scares the sh*t out of me about Trump is that he always thinks he is right and doesn't care if anyone disagrees with him. That trait is more indicative of a dictator then a diplomatic POTUS.

He lives in a world made of black and white. All he see's is black lines and red lines. That is not the world of politics.

I feel he is an elitist, a bully, and that his pride would make for some poor decision making in that oval office.

I agree. Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte was one of my heroes, from high school through most of college. I had books about his life, military campaigns, his marshals, etc. I respected a lot of conquerors at that time, but I liked Napoleon the most.

Then the Iraq War happened & it all hit me like a ton of bricks. I'd remembered reading how Napoleon would constantly push for war, even when everyone else was against it. I'd read how his wars killed off an entire generation of French males, and France was usually the "victor"! But I didn't understand it until I was out protesting against the buildup to the Iraq War.

It looked like the war wasn't going to happen and some countries had even sent flights to Iraq in defiance of the embargo against Iraq. People all over the world, including in Israel, were protesting against the potential war. Then boom! Bush ignored all of that and gave that infamous ultimatum to Saddam. Then "Shock & Awe" happened & our news channels showed it live on tv. I literally cried tears of rage over it. I've been a staunch pacifist ever since.

Having a leader that threatens everything he sees as a nuisance isn't a good sign at all. Trump seems more like the type to snap at anyone who doesn't leap when he says "jump". People are only supporting him because he hasn't targeted them yet.

Id prefer misguided leadership that's moving forward, then cautious leadership that's still. Kick the door down or through the window i don't care, we need someone to lead us out of this cluster ****.

We can ask Spain and Portugal for some help with that plan, they already set fire through that area once before!

It never ceases to amaze me to see all of the anti-Trump threads and joke treads being created to derail his campaign.

Derail his campaign? Ah, that's sweet. Nobody is going to derail it more than the man himself. You know what they say "give someone enough rope.........".

It's just a matter of time. I predict not very long.

So they boldly lead us forward, right off a cliff before anyone has a chance to realize what's going on?

Citizens: Hey, we're hungry!
Misguided leadership: What?! Here! Eat these mushrooms I just found!
Cautious leader: Wait, I think those are poisonous. Let's...
Misguided leadership: There's no time! We're going forward, no matter what!
Citizens: Yay!

Sorry, but that's a horrible way to lead a country. This isn't a platoon in a video game. There are more than 300 million people living here whose lives will depend on that misguided leader's decisions.

Glad you asked! Mel Gibson. Most people don't realize that he was in fact born in New York (to an American-born father) and lived there until he was 12!

1. He knows how to inspire people (Braveheart)
2. Nobody can deny his patriotism! (The Patriot )
3. He'll never be accused of being PC (every recorded conversation of his ever)

Contrary to popular liberal lies, actors make AWESOME leaders (The Gipper?! amIright?)!

Trump sucks so bad. If you can't see through the slime you are a seriously bad judge of character. He's a hypocrite; outsourcing to China/Mexico while railing against it, and political donations to Hillary who is a family friend. A self-righteous egomaniac. All confidence and zero integrity. He might very well be an establishment plant, bringing up many of the subjects that rightwingers want addressed to draw support but clearly having no real solutions. People will vote for anyone who doesn't walk and talk like a politician because they are so sick of being treated like children by elected officials. He's a great example of the reality that if someone is confident enough, people will follow them off a cliff.

Though he's a piece of sh*t, if it had to be a GOP candidate, I guess I'd rather see him elected only for the fact that he might shake things up.

I like what Sanders has to say on many subjects, but not all of them. He seems sincere, just like Ron Paul always did, and though the two are polar opposites it feels like they at least both actually have the public's interest in mind. He also wants a FED audit, something Trump wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole and possibly the most important issue at hand in this country. I will be voting for Bernie if I get the chance. However at this point I wouldn't be even slightly surprised if Bernie got elected and then immediately sold us all down the river, because that how things work in this country.

Why? Because David Duke was never going to win. Al Sharpton was never going to win. Ron Paul was never going to win.

(continued)

Ron Paul and Donald Trump are NOTHING alike. If anyone used to be a Ron Paul supporter and are now supporting Trump they never really understood Ron Paul's message.

Trump is not a good person. He rips people off, he flip flops on his views, is highly insensitive, he is the least charitable billionaire in America, and has gone bankrupt several times. Look at his deeds, not what he says!

If anyone here liked Ron Paul his son Rand is running. Just in case anyone forgot.

Trump is stomping Jeb and that is a service to humanity!

Another thing Trump is doing is ensuring that no Republican will get elected!

No one on the Democrat side is scared of Trump. They likely embrace him. It would be a 'gimme.'

Same reason that those on the right would love it if Biden runs.

Clowns are entertaining, but they don't seem to get elected -- they just help the other side.

You're right on with your trump analysis OP, except that he's not very diplomatic and is more divisive than Obama. I'm not sure he would be the best president. Still would rather have him than Bush or Hillary....would rather have Sanders and we could even have a coalition government like other countries do.

I would love to see an outsider on the left and an outsider on the right compare notes, realistically and come up with a platform that they could both live with and implement it together.
