Is there an equivalent event for men of faith?

Are men allowed into the womens event and vice versa?

I was expecting a video of Christian comedy. Don't worry about it were clearly on a different track.

there's all kinds of men centered events: most churches have male pastors, most big events have male pastors (billy graham, for example, has historically been well, billy graham and his team). it's only been for the last 30-40 years that women have had female centered events, dealing with issues related to being a woman of faith and other women's issues.

odd that you would nit pick that since it's actually a good thing.

now who would star that post by prezbo and then complain that women in christian religion are oppressed?

prezbo

promise keepers is a men's group.
mens' prayer breakfast is a men's group.
pretty much every masonic lodge and shriner's lodge, is a men's group, which has as its requirements for acceptance, belief in a higher power.
i'd say that's male oriented for men of faith.

what are you trying to say prez? btw, aren't you a democrat? clarify that for me

Thirdly, I am not religious, but consider myself spiritual. I don't know exactly what form the Prime Mover takes, but I am convinced there is more to this elegant universe of ours than some random mixing of gasses and liquids.

So therefore you are trying to diss the Atheists by showing how annoying the religious freaks are?

Good laugh SnF

I think some of those were more anti Christian than Atheist. But I will give my own example of religious hypocrisy, which I wish was not true but sadly is.

1. When someone else's life is bad, they say God isn't at fault that he lets things happen as they happen. When someone else's life is good they say look at all the good God is doing for you.

2. When their own life is bad, they pray to God why is life so bad, please help me. When life is going good they say look at the good that I have done for myself.

So quick to discredit others accomplishments and credit them to God, but so willing to take credit for their own accomplishments.

Hypocrisy at it's finest, yet most don't even realize they do it.

My personal opinion.

Stuff happens and we have freewill. The gifts received through prayer are spiritual not physical or financial, with an occasional healing that goes beyond medical explanation.

Not sure how this is supposed to annoy an atheist.

But it is a sure way to out yourself as the typical simple-minded believer.

That's cool - I'm not religious but I'm spiritual and I'm always interested in first hand accounts for these kind of events.
Thanks for sharing.
