Again, I haven't read all the replies yet....but I will over the course of today

I live in Chicago...in Rogers Park to be exact. Not a great neighborhood, but, I live on the Lake, choose to do so and this is the only place I can AFFORD to do so...but I wander in my reply....

I have lived here with my husband for almost 16 years. We are WHITE as white can be....we glow we're so white.....and BOY do we get comments from the folks with "dark completions". At the height of the Ferguson riots, we were downright THREATENED.

But the most scared I got was when we rode our bikes from where we live to the Indiana Sand Dunes....we ended up in a 'hood on the South side...and we got the "What are You doing in this 'hood, Cracker?" and were literally CHASED away.
I have never called a black man or woman a n@gger in my life, (to their faces, I mean, I grew up in Texas and have used the word in casual conversation. I am NOT politically correct AT ALL!), yet in the 16 years I have lived in Chicago, I have been called a cracker, hillbilly, whitey, honky, white girl...and I won't even GO into the run ins I have had with the hispanics in this city.....getting so bad as being attacked by a hispanic man over being a "güera" in the wrong place at the wrong time....

but I guess, in this new world that has been created in America, I am a racist just based on my pale skin color and Texas birth......

In some places and circles the open racism of whites is accepted and encouraged, I've seen it. The thing is I'll call someone out being racist against anyone for any reason because it's bull#.

This issue divides us it polarizes us, the real problems and deeper issues are swept under the rug because the person for change has a darker skin tone? Or because the person for change has a white complexion, whatever that's ridiculous!

I hate the way this world works in this matter, I hate that we can't come together. I say "we" but you know there is a group of us waking up and putting down the old swords, and paving the new way.

So, there's hope but as you've pointed out there's much work to be done. People need to realize when you discriminate on someone because of things they can't change when you exaggerate the stereotypes you stop the conversation you hinder progression. Anyway stay strong, keep your head up I believe change will come.

First let me say, this issue is an American issue, focused on by a post that was directly pointing at American society. There was no mention of another country. It's understood that it's an American focused discussion. It has nothing to do with London, Russia or whatever. If you want those stats, why not make a post that focuses on elsewhere. If you want to focus on other countries, supply your own stats. I don't care. If you're talking about a current wildfire, why would you focus on a wildfire on the other side of the world when the one you're addressing is right where the video shows it to be? Americans are just as oblivious to the outside world's issues just as the outside world focuses on their own issues.

So here are your stats...

Whites outnumber blacks 5 to 1 yet blacks commit 8x more crimes against whites than the other way around, according to FBI statistics. A black male is 40 times as likely to assault a white person than the other way around. Figures also show that interracial rape is almost exclusively black on white.

This Source shows that 62.5k blacks were the victim of white crime, however 320k whites were the victim of black crime. Now consider also that the black population is 13% pf the population. That's crazy isn't it. Such a small portion of the US commits such a huge portion of the criminal problems.

I have epilepsy and once had a seizure (one of the kinds where I am aware what's going on around me, I just cannot communicate...as opposed to the seizures where I'm completely out and twitching, contorting...), on the redline (I live in Chicago). I was able to get off the train at the stop (Clark and Lake, I think) where I collapsed on the ground as soon as I got off the train. People stepped OVER me and two cops where standing near and started to actually LAUGH when I started to shake and my face contorted with tears streaming down my face, (pretty standard for these kinds of seizures). Not ONE person asked if I was ok or stopped to help me....not even the PIGS!

Eventually a CTA worker came and helped me off the dirty ground and offered to call an ambulance.

People just don't want to get involved....don't care.....and well....are too self absorbed to even notice, I think....

ME? I help people carry their bags or help an obviously struggling women with a stroller...or help load groceries into an elderly man's car.....do unto others and all that karma stuff.....

I have to say, that given the current state of race relations, that girl had no business in a black neighborhood. I am not racist, have no animosity towards blacks, but I avoid black neighborhoods with a vengeance because of this. I lived in a neighborhood for many years that was mixed, had black neighbors who I got along fine with, but when the neighborhood started to tilt towards being primarily black, I DID start to feel hostility from the people moving in there. I finally moved away, not because of racism towards blacks, but because of their hostility towards me. I am talking about being in a grocery store and being called "cracker" by another shopper, getting out of my car after a long day of work to be glared at by a couple of young men in the parking lot, almost getting carjacked at 5 AM one morning. That was enough for me. So I was basically forced out my neighborhood by their racism, not mine. So now I avoid them on all levels, and have no problems.

We went to work day at my son's school yesterday. Mixed bag of people.

You know what I noticed? Military, military, athlete (me), military ... most of us working there has something in our backgrounds that had put us in a situation where we had been forced to rely on, live with and work hard, physically and mentally, with people of any and all backgrounds in our past.

Let me be clear because apparently we have to tread lightly no matter what we say these days, this is wrong, wrong, wrong. It's not black, it's not white. I have to be clear that what happened before the vid is up to the viewer. The only thing I can see is a white woman getting beaten badly by a black man and girl while shouting "Wrong Hood". That's it.

Don't really understand why this is scary now. It's been known for a very long time whitey doesn't belong in the hood. My grandmother was threatened multiple times simply for walking outside by her retirement home, this has been going on for decades. If you are white and have to go into the hood, pack some heat.
I like how none of the Disenfranchised ever stop to question that a Black Male is beating a White Woman, instead they just allow him to keep rocking her skull with his foot, chanting: "Wrong hood bitch, Wrong hood bitch."

Huge cities have a issue of people not caring about anyone else because they are so impersonal and treat you like a number. And th e cops and people not helping you should all had been charged with public endangerment,but since there are not enough cameras to catch that sort of thing its impossible to find them all.(the upside of cams on every corner)

Anything that is outside the PC view, will either be ignored or vilified as being non-PC.

This is exactly the Reason that Trump is garnering the support he has, even though clearly he is not a viable candidate and would make a horrible president.

It is sad and horrible and many people have taken it as a cue for revenge apparently bottled up for a long time. Soros funds all kinds of different radical groups and groups whose agendas are not always apparent but its all part of the Shadow Government and the UN treaties are part of that and the Presidents Council on Urban Development as well. They have been working systematically on many fronts, this stuff with the race wars is just a part of the total picture.
I would say also that there was an opportunity to heal racial strife, and instead only more was created, for an agenda, for a purpose, and it's Totalitarian in nature and designed to control every one of us not in the 1%(to use Occupy terminology).
