Of course he is modelling his policies on countries that out preform us in almost every quality of life metric and Trump built his platform based on what past temper tantrums got him the best TV ratings...
But other than that I have to admit you make a sound comparison.

After which countries does he model his policies? And assuming "us" means the United States of America, where does "us" rank, in regards to "quality of life metrics", among the 195 countries of the world?

Looks good when our dollar is the standard of measurement and you compare us to Somalia and Malaysia and stuff. In the world of people who don't worry about where the rebels are when the radio batteries run out we are a laughing stock. Should I assume you need a ground up intro to the candidate you dismiss then ask the policies of, or do you have some skewed numbers there too that I should plan to debunk?

I know him. He's a clown. You support a puppet that was put there to basically play the same role as third part candidates have in the general elections. He makes you feel like your being represented, but he's actually a lap dog for the one. What do you care, your not allowed to vote anyway.

Not a meaningful vote, I'll give you that, but I will bite and ask whether you're accusing me of being a felon or what.
I also wouldn't mind hearing how you know Bernie Sanders- were you the bartender on duty when he got drunk and showed off his Koch Brothers tramp stamp or something or did you just read/hear some stuff in some millionaires media platform?

The truth is that I see Bernie as a bit of a Jimmy Carter, which is basically a bargain basement one-term Thomas Jefferson- great on paper but you just know he's gonna try to take America further than they're willing to go and that not long after he's gone the war and the bank he tried to keep at bay will be back with a vengeance. They are all the type of president that show you that at the right time, in the right conditions, all the oligarchs can really afford to do is give democracy enough rope to hang itself. I find that ever so slightly more hopeful a scenario than voting for a guy who is running not to win, but to steal thunder from Bush rivals, and certainly more interesting than a dynasty politician.

I'm not so much supporting Bernie as balking at the idea that there is anything as obviously contemptible and undeserving of serious consideration as Trump. They aren't the same political species at all. Bring on the malaise, even a revolutionary needs a couple years to catch his breath now and then.

(Edit to add, response to you edit will wait till I feel like getting into a bunch of appendices and reports- I really will get into the gorey details but I'm gonna save that tedium for the evening)

When have you heard a politician say no don't send me any money I don't need it? Trump says this repeatedly he has refused Million dollar donations. I love the way President Trump (call a spade a spade) tweaks the other repubes. They are confused because this is what the American people want which cuts into what they can steal they suffer from cognitive dissonance. I feel Trump cares for this nation, can run the country like a business and will stand up for our veterans and for Lady Liberty.

No one has the authority to steal money from someone else. PERIOD. I don't care what you call it. Any 'authority' claiming such power is wrong. The system needs to go. All of it. Worldwide.

Can't anyone understand that 'government' will never work FOR the people? It is not in it's interest to give up power..only seize more.

Your right. We would not have any Government without taxes. Shifting taxes to the rich rather than the poor is raising taxes on the rich. Yes he is going to raise taxes on the rich to take the burden off the poor. Being CONSERVATIVE does not mean you have to tax the poor and middle class at a higher rate than you tax the RICH elitist donor class of billionaires. The billionaires will be fine paying more tax. They will still be billionaires.

You're using a poor metric. Yes we have a high disposable income but we also have much higher out of pocket expenses that are covered in other nations with tax dollars, for example things like health care. In terms of purchasing power on extras we're not even in the top 15 though we do have larger homes on average, Europe is far more energy conscious.
