I'm just catching up here, you guys noticed the video is no longer available "due to copyright"?

This is going to be suicide by cop. I doubt they take him alive. Given the information I think he likely didn't care who saw him because he didn't plan on living through the rest of the day.

Can't say that my heart breaks at the thought.

right now on scanner saying he is in the varon area it sounds like their saying, one 227 north bound with U.S. Marshals.

Disgruntled employee? I remember the good old days when the only disgruntled employees were mailmen shooting up the post office.

The news station may have claimed copyright so that the video showing their live death is not easily available on YT.

yep and the catch phrase was going postal.

Given the victims and the size of the shooter (6' 2", 230 lbs) my guess is he a former camera operator for the station who got canned. Maybe he blamed it on them for some reason. But shooting anyone over a damn job? Sick, sick, sick.

The footage is super creepy, not only do you see the shooter but the spent shell casings are falling right in front of the camera while it's laying on the ground.

Local news says the name circulating of the shooter IS NOT the correct one.

They're into Culpeper now. Getting close to northern Virginia. Gonna be a ton of law enforcement coming in if they keep going north.

ETA - they went to VSP division 2, if anybody is listening on scanner. I can't find it

The story I linked to said it was a confirmed alert for Flanagan by the Sheriffs office. Would be odd if they got the name wrong.

The reports are saying it was a light skinned black male named Flanagan....though this guy does look similar to the pics.

Indeed. I think everyone is trying to cover their arses at this point. They didn't specify which name was incorrect they just said the current name circulating is incorrect. They also didn't state the correct name either... go figure.

I don't 'sympathize' with either. I might empathize with both, though depending. I don't know why he did it either, does anyone yet?

The pay off will comet when they tell us the truth about it. Highly unlikely, considering they already pulled the best evidence, the video.

"Copyright" bah…

Check the top of the list. This has to be him. But the name is "Vester".
