Are you seriously defending the concept of slavery with a cat lady anecdote and "They were given a chance to leave"???
I get that this is a serious problem. Though I suspect the serious problem I see is not the same one you are referencing. There is NO excuse to advocate for the involuntary enslavement of any group of peoples. This is the kind of crap we bomb other countries for and it is absolutely unconscionable that an American is advocating for it.
Well, what's wrong with slavery? is indefensible on all levels.

That guy should be fired immediately for saying what he said. How can the broadcasting company he works for sanction such talk?
It's right-wing radio.
Par for the course.

Except that it is condoned in the bible (even the NT). There is that a little hangup, but I guess the rest of your points are true.

I mean whatever you want to say to help you sleep at night. If -I- were Jesus, and I was preaching to be nice to one another, I'm pretty sure I'd say that treating someone else like property isn't a good thing regardless of the laws. But hey, Jesus was just a man and a product of his times. So I can see why that little tid bit never got mentioned. Though I'm not going to defend the bible because it omitted it.

Are you really surprised by this? There are conservatives who still say African Americans were better off as slaves. Think about that for a second. In 2015, there are still conservatives who think black people were better off as slaves. Then there's the actual neo-Nazis, KKK, and other white supremacists in the conservative base, too. I'm not surprised by this at all.

Just when you think you've reached the bottom of the barrel with Republicans.....It's almost as if the barrel doesn't have a bottom to it.
