I think i already gave links for mhd and
plasmadynamic drives earlier.

For those who dont know about mhd, one method
Is to vapourize a fuel using microwaves creating a
Charged plasma within a vortexing design similar
To how a Dyson Vacuum cleaner works. The
vortexes (i.e. a plasma tornado) creates a
Plasma jet with no moving parts AND one can
use some of that same superheated charged
plasma as an aerodynamic sheath to push
The atmosphere AWAY from the hull of an aircraft!
That makes for a speedy multi-mach capable
aircraft! i.e. Hypersonic!

That sheathing tends to glow blue, green or yellow
Depending on what type of corona is created...

or noone cares what he talks about, because he posts stuff even he doesn't understand, mixing tons of pseudo-scientific mumbo-jumbo to fool people into believing there's something to it (because they will expect him to be truthful, while considering themselves not smart enough to validate the topic at hand). unfortunately for him, he stepped into my field of expertise once and failed.

for me, he looks like someone in desperate need of a doctor. perhaps the only 100% true thing he said is the fact that he's using a phone - if he's a patient of some mental institution, that may be the case. that, or his parents took his computer when they figured what he's doing.

why he wasn't banned here yet is beyond me.

ah well, that's ok. it was partly intended for others to read for a sec before I took it down. thought it could partly violate T&C. but it was my theory on what a certain member was really up to when approaching me regarding a sighting I had. going something about being used for real time live data feedback. the whole " can you see me now" game. "um yes, actually I can" but i figure they got it working better now.

Only "Hunt for Red October" called it that. The reason why those terms were conflated is that Clancy originally intended it to be a sort of Archimedes screw in a tunnel.

When the movie script was being written, someone told him about the Navy's diddling around with a seawater MHD drive in the 70's, and they changed the script to fit. But they liked the term 'caterpillar drive' for some reason and Bob's your uncle.

But yes, yes it is a big deal. Here's you a challenge - why? A Certain ATS Member knew why before he asked me about it last year. The basics are open lit, but hard to find.

I'd want to use mhd to reduce my ir signature. doesn't really, really hot air reflect differently and obviously to radars.

i can figure out why they have it near the intakes and know a few reasons they use it on the exhaust like for noise mitigation.

indefinite loiter times? great for those triangular very stealthy multi use platforms?

Hmmm...actually i quite very well understood your code....i was just joshing ya....i do have the well worn 386 and DEC alpha programming manuals sitting on my desk...sorry but it was YOU who fell into my area of expertise...i am WELL VERSED
In embedded and pic programming and VERY VERY WELL VERSED on switching between real mode and protected mode....i think we are actually on the same technical level....i was working on 8088's, 286, 386, alpha, power604
And even a few MIPS processors in the 80s and 90s...in fact i highly suspect we BOTH worked
Probably for some of the same customers.
PARC, some of the same boston 101 companies..

That can ABSORB, redirect or reshape the
returns coming from lidar, radar, acoustic and
Other imaging system within optical, acoustic
